I have to be very honest here, Im extremely disappointed in my experience with this post office. If there is another office on your route, I highly recommend you go there. The two fine federal employees I interacted with took one look at my stack of large envelopes to mail, sighed, rolled their eyes and decided they werent going to do their jobs. The job? Type in a zip code and print a sticker stamp. Repeat. All the addresses were labeled and did not require the full address be entered into the computer. As Ive frequented post offices near me in Providence, I know this would take about 10 minutes. One employee said she couldnt type and the other said that was going to take forever. So she proceeded to spend 15 minutes counting out individual stamps. After waiting that long and the stamp calculations werent adding up, I could not spend any more time and had to escape that terrible customer service experience. It was just lazy, the office was not busy. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

The staff is extreme friendly and helpful. Even when I became irritated over an issue the staff remained polite and professional. My hat is off to this wonderful group of people and to Lou who,I think, is the Postmaster. In an age of lousy customer service with many companies the North Kingstown Post Office is just a bunch of wonderful people and postal employees. Thank you so much for all of the help you have given me over the years.

When they dont feel like delivering something they mark as delivery attempted even though were open and have been here all day. Countless times this has happened.
