My wife and I had a plumbing problem that started a week ago. The washing machine rinse cycle was causing the down stairs toilet to overflow. It was not a consistent problem from day to day, until today. Thats when flushing the upstairs toilets was causing the downstairs toilet to back up. My wife said, please call Roto-Rooter, So I did. They sent Jean out to or house and I explained the problem . He knew exactly what was happening and went to work. Not only did Jean fix the problem we had been fighting off an on for a week, he was so nice and such a pleasure to talk to. We have a clean out in our downstairs hall that Jean used to access or sewer line. While snaking out our line, he hit something and once the downstairs toilet flushed, he knew he had opened the line. When he pulled his snake back out of the clean out, he realized that there were roots attached to the blade. Once he saw the roots, he put a double blade on the snake and ran it thru again to make sure he had the blockage cleared. Once he took all of his tools out to the truck, he came back in with disinfectant spray and cleaned the wall, baseboard and floor. It looked as if he had never been here, except our plumbing problem was now fixed. If in the future if we need plumbing services again, we will call Roto-Rooter and request that they send Jean again.

Our company had water bubbling up from under the carpet which was flooding our hall and offices. Within 30 minutes of the call, Jake and Dean were at our office diagnosing our issue. To fix our problem, they had to jack hammer through our concrete slab and wade through 2 wheel barrows of wet red mud to find where our pipe had burst. In the process, they covered our floor and walls with plastic to minimize any mud staining. They repaired the broken pipe and re-filled the holes. The next morning, they returned to fill in the concrete and decided overnight that they felt they needed to heat seal (sauter) the connection so that we would not ever have this problem again even though they had used the best product out in plumbing (Pex/compression). Out came the plastic and red mud again. After the final step--concrete, Dean and Jake went back over and cleaned any splatters on the wall and left our floor clean like nothing had ever happened. During the entire process, they periodically informed us of their progress and let us know what they had found and were doing. They were polite and courteous and we will be requesting them in the future if we have any more issues in our old building.

My "story" is a bit too long, but suffice to say it involved poor drainage and gurgling from the toilets and sinks in our 8 year old house. After several auger cleanings of the drain line to the septic tank only temporarily restored drainage, it was on the third visit that an employee named Bill found the real problems --- yes, there were multiple problems. It turned out that the builder never connected the vent stacks in the attic. They were actually capped as part of the construction testing process, but never connected to the vent pipe above them. This caused the gurgling in the drain system, but it wasnt until he found and removed the septic cover that he discovered the biggest problem: the 6" drain pipe into the tank was mis-installed and butted up against the diverter. Sure, it took three visits, but these guys stuck to it, and got things right. They were persistent, polite and adjusted the bill for the unsuccessful early visits.

This particular franchise is great! They answered my call promptly, asked me for details on the issue, and was honest on the wait time. The technician, Adam, was to our house in a couple hours and was awesome! Very professional, knowledgeable and had a great personality which made this stressful issue a little brighter. He charged us for one hour of labor and parts to replace pipe in our crawlspace. It was a bit pricey (over 300), and I do recommend to put the pricing for each part and labor on the invoice where it is broken down near the quantity. Never seen an invoice for a service without that. But other than that, very worth it for fast good service! It even comes with a warranty. Adam also recommended us a company to help with the crawl space repair, which he didnt have to do. Thanks Adam! We will ask for you to come back if any more previous owner DIYs come up.

I usually go with local guys, but I tried several plumbers and couldnt get a call back and one person said they didnt have the right insurance to fix my leak, so they suggested Roto Rooter. I called and within two hours my leak was fixed with a new section of pipe, and they fixed another problem with a rusted out hot water hose on my washer. There was no rush fee. I used the $20 coupon on the website, and the total cost was $144. I dont think they even charged me for parts and they only charged for one hour even though it went over a bit. The next day I got calls back from a couple plumbers I had left messages for. I was very happy to have it done so quickly and easily. Great service great job.

My experience with Roto-Rooter began when my bathtub started backing up. I knew then that my plumbing to my septic was stopped up. I also knew that other companies that mimic the name charge to just come out before the job is even priced. I found Roto-Rooter online and Called. They came out the same day, the guy was very polite and looked at my pipes going to my septic, diagnosed what was needed to fix the problem and went to work. Problem solved and even gave me some great information on how to prevent this from happening in the future. VERY VERY cost effective for what he did. Glad I called them!

Came to fix my main bathroom toilet clog. Responded very quickly - important with 4 kids and out of town company!! The toilet had to be taken off to remove a canning jar lid that one of the kids had flushed. Reseated the toilet with a new wax ring. Also he went under the house and snugged up the straps that hold the pipe leading to the septic tank so we get better flow than before. Total time spent was 2.5 hours, the charge was very reasonable. That evening the master toilet stopped flushing - when my own plunging/snaking efforts did nothing, they came next day and took care of that at no charge.

Joe L. arrived promptly and listened courteously as I described the problem with my master bath shower. His professional manner reassured me. Before he left, Joe checked to see that the drain was working. In addition, he installed a new kitchen faucet. He worked quietly and efficiently. Furthermore, he offered to dispose of the old faucet for me when the job was done. I highly recommend Joe L. from Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Services.
