DOUGS KERATIN TREATMENT CHANGED MY WORLD-LITERALLY!! I just had to write a comment about my "new" hair!! Many people do keratin treatments but I learned quickly if not done by an experienced keratin professional you can be in worse shape than when you started. Doug has done many of these treatments and takes the time and process to painstaking measures to make sure it is perfect!! Doug knows how to apply the proper amount of both heat, chemical and mostly an almost patented process to produce excellent results and fabulous hair. Not a process that can be rushed but well worth the time. Doug knows hair and uses methods of balance and special techniques to make sure the hair is full of body and shine. If you were like me and hated summer due to hair and humidity, threatening to shave your head every summer, Dougs keratin treatment is for you !!! On June 18 I got a keratin treatment at Studio 1 Salon from Doug. It really relaxed my hair from all the frizzies, its shinier, dries in literally half the time and I am still getting compliments. I never knew my hair could be like this. Being out in the rain, going to the beach-no problem. What freedom!!! Call Doug today and ask about his services-the methods and techniques make all the difference in a keratin treatment and Doug is a super professional. After a long search on the web looking for the recommendations for best stylists in the upstate I took a leap of faith and headed from lake Keowe down to Greenville to meet Doug. Today was a giant step to a new stylist after moving to Seneca from New York where I had the same stylist for the last 30 years. Needless to say I was a wreck as a dared to let another stylist try and relieve my fears. 3 hours after walking thru the door and placing my worried head into Dougs hands I emerged from the studio looking ten years younger with a beautiful cut, highlights and color that exceeded all my high expectations. Doug skill with both color and cut is a truly exceptional combination of talent and experience. Then theres Doug..what can I say..I left there feeling I just said goodbye to a friend of many years. Thank you Doug for making this big switch so easy, so pleasant and so successful.. see you next cut!!

My favorite salon in Greenville! I tried a few different stylist in Greenville and was never quite satisfied. Someone mentioned Doug at Studio 1, so I decided to give him a shot. So glad that I did! I absolutely love the atmosphere of the salon and Doug is amazing! I have (dyed) platinum blonde, thick, naturally curly hair. Needless to say, its pretty hard to manage and style. Doug makes my hair look perfect every single time! And hes so much fun to talk to. I would highly recommend Sonya, too. Doug wasnt working one day and I needed my hair cut and styled at the last minute, so she did it for me. It looked awesome! I cannot say enough good things about this salon and the wonderful stylists that work there!

Worst experience ever. I showed Doug a picture of what i wanted and said he wouldnt do it that instead he wanted to do highlights . I told him i did not want small streaks and he said they were gunna be thicker and blended with my hair. The whole time he focussing on some else that he was talking to. When rinsed my hair out it was very hard like he was in a rush and hurrying and when he brushed my hair he brushed it so hard and he scrapped up my neck and ears i had scratches when i left. He was blow drying my hair and then he noticed that his 3 oclock person was there and didnt finish blow drying my hair didnt cut it or style it and I was forced to pay for something i did not want. Waste of $150

Doug saved my hair! Honestly, when I first started seeing him, my hair was so damaged. My color was brassy and completely wrong for my complexion. My natural hair color is auburn which can be a challenge to match. Doug corrected and matched my natural hair color beautifully. He added highlights which are gorgeous and natural looking. I know I am using the word natural a lot but isnt that what we all want in our color. My hair has not been this healthy in years. The color is perfect! People are constantly approaching me to ask who does my hair. I highly recommend Doug. He is the best!

Doug is a miracle worker!! I am by far the pickiest person when it comes color but Im in love with how it turned out. I have very thick dry curly red hair. Not only did he do a fantastic job at correcting the color disaster on my head he rehydrated it so much you wouldnt even believe its been colored. Of all the stylists that have colored my hair Doug is my absolute favorite. Highly recommend this salon for all your needs

Sonya Bane has been my stylist for many years and she is one of the best out there! I have allover highlights on a dark blonde base and they have always turned out perfect. My cut has always been great as well. She never pushes you into something you dont want and she is very knowledgeable when it comes to hairstyles and color. I would recommend her highly!
