Horrible experience. I set up an appointment for my wife to get her hair done here for our anniversary. I told them that she had mixed textured hair, very thick, coarse, long, and that is was super curly. Then I explained that she wanted her hair washed, conditioned, straightened, and trimmed. I asked if they had someone who was really good or specialized in " ethnic type hair ". She said she knew just the person to put her with and that she was really good with curly hair. Well, after it was all said and done, my wife walked out crying. The hair visit took 3 hours and she walked out with a mess of hair ! It was not straight at all. Furthermore, she burned my wifes hair from trying to straighten for so long and now shes having to do hair conditioning treatments to get it back to being healthy, crazy that can happen just from going in to get your hair straighten. My wife began to explain to be how the lady had no idea how to work with curly ethnic hair, that she was rude, and said my wifes hair was just " to unhealthy ". My wife has the most beautiful healthy long hair there is, we dont go anywhere without some saying how beautiful it is. The lady referred to her natural hair texture as being unhealthy. My wife gets her hair straightened every so often by her regular hairdresser, who was currently booked. She always walks out 45 minutes later with her hair completely straight and soft ! This just about ruined our anniversary because it took three hours at the salon, and then my wife had to go home and redo her hair which took two more hours. It took a huge chunck out of our special day. Which was really upsetting because it was my wifes first day out of the hospital & bedrest in three month and all she wanted to do was feel beautiful for our day together. Altogether, if you are a hair professional or hair salon, you should only hire people that are professional experts with all hair types. It is unacceptable to be a " professional hairdresser " and not know how to even wash and straighten hair. Do better.

My experience with what happens at this establishment. I saw a coworkers hair and asked her who her stylist was. I called and booked an appointment here with the stylist. Unbeknownst to me, the stylist had a personal event happen. NOBODY notified me. Instead I show up, and this woman tells me she will be doing my hair. I did not specifically like the way she styled it, and I was upset that the stylist I booked with didnt have the decency to call me to rebook. When I tried a second time to book with him, I show up, and Im told that AGAIN that I will be with the same woman I didnt like. She told me Im HER client, not his. As if I didnt have a person choice. During this second visit, her child, sick and snotty, keeps taking running leaps into her while she has scissors in her hand doing my hair. I was stunned. Being the classy person I am, I paid, and decided never to come back. Instead of giving me my money back or discounting me for these two experiences, the staff tells me they will give me a coupon to come back. To quote Clueless, "Umm as if!!?" If you are okay with your stylist standing you up and handing you off twice, kids running into their mom while she has scissors in your hand, and then customer service that says, "Trust us and take the full risk to come back in" then you will LOVE this salon.

I really liked the salon! Has a cool "vibe." Passed by it on many occasions (my dentists office is next door...). The staff is really nice from the front desk receptionist to the stylists. My current stylist recently moved there and I was so impressed with her demeanor, experience/skills that I happily followed her! Candy Spearman is very talented, is up on the latest trends, and understands different ethnic hair textures and issues. I have been looking for someone for a LONG time to crack the code on my crazy hair, and she did it within a few minutes! If you are biracial, have biracial kids or are not quite happy with how your hair "behaves" overall after you have it done, give her a try. She an handle any type of hair that you walk in the door with. You will not be disappointed!

I had an appointment on Saturday, 7/30/16, with Jo Bradshaw. She took my hair and transformed it into something I am absolutely proud of! She did an amazing job. I needed to refresh my red hair and get some of it fixed due to a bad previous stylist. She made 100% sure that I got the exact color I was looking for. I also have very course, curly hair and she gave me the best haircut I have probably ever had in my life! I got so many compliments after I left the salon throughout the day. If you are looking for someone who actually wants to help you and will listen to you, Jo is your girl. She was able to give me the best advice for my hair and when I went with it, my hair looks better than ever! Jo is someone you can really trust with your hair. Thanks Studio 7 and Jo!!

I moved to Greenville in this summer and immediately began the search for a great place to have my hair cut. The positive reviews on Yelp steered me towards Studio 7, and I havent looked back. Ive had a couple cuts here now and have been very happy with the facilities, professionalism, and quality of their staff. Amber cut my hair both times and has done a phenomenal job. Im not very good at articulating what I want and Amber helped talk me through it. If you want a great cut with great service, I recommend Studio 7 and ask for Amber

Very high end salon. Atmosphere was delightful. Every Stylist in the salon seemed very intent on pleasing her client. The young lady at the greeting desk perfectly amazing. Ashley James was completely comfortable with the picture I brought in showing the haircut and style I was so desperately wanting. We discussed it a couple of minutes, then off to a most relaxing shampoo. Ashley truly exhibited confidence and that really put me at ease, this was my first experience and will return for my next appointment in Sept . Adele

Had a not-so-great visit on my first experience here, and the owner was very quick to make things right. On my second visit, I had an expert stylist who was very knowledgeable and made sure I got exactly what I wanted, and Ive been going there ever since. The last few times Ive seen Jo, shes great with color and style. Shes also happy to give an honest opinion about whether a style will work for you which is important. The salon is a little pricey, but its hard to find anyone within a couple miles of downtown Greenville who isnt.

Lindsey did a wonderful job with my blonde highlights. I asked for red underneath, but red is a tricky color to try to dye. I wish the red was a little brighter, but overall she did a great job with it. She told me that she mixed and created the color herself. The only complaint I have is the environment. It could use some warmth inside, and the music needs the change, it was awful! I have long hair, so the price for highlights and lowlights was $155. Lindsey is the girl to go to for blonde highlights!
