My wife and I contacted Coastal Carrier Moving and Storeage for a local move that we were making. We spoke with Michael and he scheduled a time to come out and give us an estimate for the move. He arrived on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. We had a good deal of items that needed special attention including a grand piano that my wife had inherited from her father. It was on the second floor of our home and she was very concerned about its safety. Michael assured us that they would be able to move it safely. We also discussed having them pack our belongings as there were a good deal of breakable items which needed to be cared for properly. Michael sent us an estimate for the move and we contracted with them to do the move. The day prior to the move the packing team came arrived and packed all of our items. They were very courteous and made sure that each item was carefully wrapped and packed. The move team arrived the next day and were very competent in handling each of our items. They were very careful and courteous and reassured us each step of the way. Everything went so smoothly! They took great care with each of our belongings and the piano was moved without incident. We were very happy with the quality of service that we received and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good mover in the area.

My family and I were planning a move but had to proceed much sooner than anticipated. I had used movers previously and knew that would be the only way to get move easily. To start off; Josh Shipman came to do a fair estimate of my home and was professional including all documents that customers should get prior to doing an interstate move. Due to short notice, they were able to assemble a team of wonderful people to assist me with a long distance move. Scott and his entire team were the most upbeat, helpful and just nice movers ever. My items arrived intact with no problems. Great care was taken to ensure no damage to either home. Again professionalism was exhibited throughout the entire process. The move was essentially seemless and I was beyond pleased. I would absolutely without any reservation recommend Coastal Carriers to assist you with moving/packing, etc.

We cannot say enough great things about Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage. From the owner all the way down to the staff who actually moved us, we were impressed with their professionalism, work ethic - and most importantly - how they cared for our things! Ours was an especially difficult move, as it included moving our things from a single home in Raleigh to both a storage unit and condo in Morehead City. Amazingly, every box and item made it exactly where it was supposed to go - something we considered to be no small feat. The boys on the job worked tirelessly from sun up to sun down to make sure everything went off without a hitch. We feel blessed to be able to work with such a wonderful company and look forward to working with them again soon when we can finally get our things out of storage and moved into a new, permanent home!!

Coastal carriers were wonderful. When another moving company, last minute, was not able to make it on the date we requested Coastal Carriers, Josh, stepped in and did what he could and offered to move my daughter last minute! He was wonderful to work with and was beyond helpful in this last minute stressful situation. I would highly recommend this company!!! It is nice to know there are decent, respectful people working with this company, people who are willing to do whatever to help out!

The movers were punctual, polite, very careful with my furniture, and were careful not to track anything in on a very wet morning.
