I was not pleased at all. I went to get my hair cut off and I wanted it shorter than she cut it. Well yesterday when I said it to her she said she couldnt cut it shorter cause she put something in it. Today I called to see if she would cut it lower and then she tells me she dont have clippers. Well if that was the case why did you even cut my hair to begin with?? I showed you a pic of how I wanted it done. A real stylist wouldve said from jump street she couldnt or didnt have clippers to do the style and let me make a decision if I wanted to go head or find someone else to do the job that she clearly couldnt do. Never again will I go back cause Im very disappointed with her work!!

I am very pleased with my stylist Demetria. Shes always there for my appointments and Ive never had to wait long before she gets started on my sister-locks retightening (Ive been going to her for two years now). She and the other stylists at Nubian Designs take pride in their work and are very pleasant to their clients. If you are natural or even thinking about going natural, this is the place to go!

My experience here was great at first to get my starter locs even after a few retwist but when I came back to get my hair retwist and styled services seemed unorganized and feels as if youre not wanted as a customer anymore. I wont be returning again but I can say I do love the fact I got my locs started. Ill just retwist and wash also style on my own dont really like everyone in my hair.

So far my appointment was initially at 2:30pm today, then I was told to come back at 3pm. Now its past 3 and Im still waiting. The most recent review (before this one) was a week ago and it was a negative review in regards to them booking appointments and having you wait for hours. Hopefully it doesnt come to that, but so far bad service.

My stylist was Valencia and it was HORRIBLE. I WANTED A MOHAWK and idk what I got. I was upset and I expressed it to her and she still left!! Then the rude ass stylist in the front seat told me to stop complaining because she didnt want to hear it. Horrible service and a waste of my day and money. I am pissed!

I like the stylist. I thought she was pleasant and quick with her work. My only dislike is that in my personal opinion natural hair styles should not cost more. But I do understand it is a labor of love for the stylist. It is a talent she is good at it. I recommend people to visit the shop all the time.
