Hopefully the franchise owner will read this. It doesnt take a genius to figure out if you guys allowed customers and/or employees to check the engine light codes, they could figure out the problem and buy the right parts, since you are an auto parts store? I was recommended to wait til Monday morning and referred to local shop who would provided me with a complimentary code check? lol, I work during the week, I need to fix the problem today ( Saturday ). I know Discount Auto Parts will hold your ID , while you borrow the code checker. You read the codes , figure out its a spark plug or something , then purchase the part to fix it? Ding Ding Ding , both parties win, I find the right part I need and you guys make a sale? But because you didnt have this option, I went to AutoZone in Murrells Inlet, where not only did they have a code checker, but a nice gentleman checked the codes for me, found out it was something as simple as a sparkplug misfire. I bought the set of spark plugs on the spot, $50, easy as that?? Just FYI, because I now know Advance AutoParts do not have this option, I will stay away from your store in the future and surely will not recommend anyone either. Im sure the employees are great, store is clean, maybe the windows are super clean, whoopy dooo?! I dont come to autoparts store to eat dinner or to take a crap, I go there because i have a problem, i need to find a solution, buy a part and fix it. If i had time to wait, i would buy the part from the internet for way cheaper. You pay premium prices for the convenience of being able to solve the problem today. If its upper management who are preventing their employees from using the tools to help its customers research the possible solution, maybe Advance Auto parts need to switch CEOs or change its name to Mr. Clean, before they choke out the business. This isnt rocket science, this is business 101. Get back to the basics people?!

Im on vacation with my family in Pawleys Island (at Litchfield Beach), and needed a replacement battery. Braxton showed top-notch customer service by not only replacing my battery, but going the extra mile by working around a couple of "obstacles" as far as my battery housing. I have to say that he was able to get it done in a very fast manner, and had me back on the road to the beach to enjoy the rest of my day. Because of the kindness and help that he was able to provide, my vacation didnt get interrupted and I am thankful for that.

Can not say enough! My truck died on the way to their store, I called them Scott came charged my battery, jumped my truck and helped me off the road. Then diagnosed that the altnator had died. Got me an altnator, I put it in the truck in a parking lot while he charged my battery at the store. John who I believe is the manager was extremely helpful and gracious tried to get me the best prices as well as told me everything I needed to know. Extremely satisfied. Great guys! You saved me big time!
