We found Lachicotte Company through the Internet and one of their beautiful listings. We did not pursue the listing we initially saw, but we were happy with the agent, Darissa Thompson, whom we met via telephone and emails. We made a trip from California to Pawleys Island for a weekend with the purpose of buying a property. She is an awesome agent and wonderful representative of the Lachicotte Companys service and commitment to helping buyers! She was thorough, and knowledgeable and a delight to work with! We closed on our house in March and hired the Lachicotte Company Rental Division to secure a tenant for us in our beautiful new home in Heritage Plantation. We are very happy with their service in finding us a long-term tenant who moves in this month. In using them as both a "buyer" and "owner", we are very happy with Lachicotte Company, and Darissa Thompson, and highly recommend this company!

The only thing better than finding our dream beach house was having the pleasure of working with Kathy Besse. She is very knowledgeable in real estate field and The Strand area but what sets her apart is that she goes above and beyond in the customer relationship. We purchased from out of state on a tight timeframe and she made it work, accommodating our schedule every step of the way. From first contact to closing 6 weeks later she made the process as smooth as possible but what happened next truly sets her apart. Hurricane Matthew hit days after we closed, Kathy to took the time to reach out, answering questions, keeping us informed and calming our fears. This company use to be great not anymore. We rented a place on Watersedge Drive and had to move because it flooded and no one fixed the issue and the work inside the unit was never finished, but we were expected to still pay 925 a month. I spoke to others that lived in similar units and they could not believe we were paying that much because they pay 800 or less. Not worth it!!!!
