I had my car towed to Bumbus after is was involved in a collision. There was 5,000 dollars worth of damage to the front end. My car was at there shop for over a month. I never received any phone call to update me on the status of the vehicle. I personally had to call them. I picked my vehicle up there yesterday. My car was trashed! Inside and out. On my way home, I noticed my steering wheel was crooked. Called them and they were already closed for the evening. Being that my car was so dirty, I needed to use the windshield wiper fluid.... guess what?!? That didnt work! Then as I am driving I noticed it was becoming harder and harder to make turns. After getting the car home, I checked out everything. What do ya know? There was NO coolant and no windshield wiper fluid. I am pretty sure there was little to no oil either! That is all I could see thus far. I spoke with Bumbus first thing that morning. They immediately sent a tow truck to pick up my car. I then received a phone call after they looked it over. This is what was said.... 1. Windshield wiper fluid - lines were not hooked up properly 2. Coolant- was filled but apparently air bubbles make it just DISAPPEAR! (there was NONE in the reserve!) 3. Steering wheel- they admit it was crooked 4: Hard steering - they dont no, they had to tow the vehicle to Toyota for more testing. So, mistakes happen, right? This is more than a mistake. This is complete negligence. If the car was inspected and test driven and re-inspected properly this wouldnt of happen. From what Ive heard Bumbus is a great body shop. How my car got treated so poorly, I dont no. Maybe because they knew they were dealing with a female. Either way, my insurance company recommended them and Ive also read a lot of good reviews. So, I am not saying they are horrible but they were definitely horrible to me! Rest assured, my vehicle will go NO where anymore except for Toyota! Also, after all that damage, and paying 500 deductible, they gave me a little tiny receipt!!! I have no idea what they fixed, no warranty paperwork, NOTHING!! They couldnt even take me to my car. When I asked where my car was located they said out there on the fence line.

Worst body shop in the history of the automobile. In Oct 2015 my fiance brought them my car while I was on a business trip. Not only were they unable to fix the problem with my door lock assembly but they broke my driver side window. Upon coming home I saw that they did replace my window but installed in incorrectly. When I went to their shop to ask what they did to my car they told me I needed a few hundred dollars worth of parts and that the part I had purchased didnt work. Not agreeing with that assessment I simply asked the manager I was speaking with to fix the misinstalled window and I apologized for the fact that I would not like them to resume the repair. Just simply please fix the additional damage they did to my vehicle. Then the owner turned around from the customer he was engaged with and screamed at me and told me that I could just leave. Thats right he screamed at me. I proceeded to simply state that I was not being loud or getting out of line so screaming at me was inappropriate and unnecessary. For fear of my vehicle being damaged more I decided not to even bring it back to them to fix the damage they caused. I went home took my door apart and saw that they had stripped the star bolts to my window regulators and thats why the window wouldnt go in correctly (the clamps couldnt be released to slide the window in securely. After ordering replacement star bolts I did the repair myself the following weekend. It took me two hours plus ten minutes to watch a YouTube video. The part that I had purchased originally worked fine and the only additional parts I needed were the star bolts they stripped. There were also other star bolts they stripped associated with this repair that held the door lock assembly in place but they were salvageable. Oh and my backseat and interior of my door was covered in broken glass from the window they didnt bother to clean up. Despite the fact of my vehicle being damaged and not having them fix the damages they caused, for fear of them doing more damage, the worst part of the experience was the way the owner screamed at me and having to try to keep my composure.

((Do NOT go here expecting high quality repairs)) I had a relatively small scratch and simply came in for an estimate. The man I saw said he could take both panels off and respray them and make them look new for $700ish, OR he could use a little touch up paint and bring it to an almost unnoticeable level for $150. The man was so confident in his teams ability, he said, "if this were my car, I would do touch up paint." I went with the mans recommendation, after all, this is his profession. The repair was nothing short of shoddy. Primer was not even used before putting down the new paint and clear coat went unapplied as well. I know they didnt use primer, because, they didnt completely cover the scratch on the corner of the fender in the first place, and the small bit that wasnt covered was clearly the damaged, preexisting primer. I know they didnt use clear coat, because, once I pointed out the area wasnt completely painted, they simply just slapped some more paint on the area. Primer, base coat, and clear coat all have to be done in layers, allowing time to dry in between. The paint put down by them is not flush with the factory paint in most areas. The man that inspected my car afterwards attributed this to the damaged area being a "chip" instead of just an area just stripped of paint. I know they couldve done better because in some areas the paint is flush and looks very good for touch up paint. The quality work I received was just a result of pure laziness and lack of integrity. I highly doubt the man that first looked at my car would have chosen to do this, "if this were his car."

Lack of communication. I took my van in with the understanding that it could be fixed. I had brought it in the previous day to be looked at and evaluated to see if it could be repaired and was told that yes it could be fixed and to drop it off the following morining. I dropped it off at 8:30 and at 1:00 I called up for a status update since no one called me with an update and when I had called in, the woman I spoke to told my van was "done". I took that to mean it was fixed. In reality it meant that they were unable to fix the damage. That is fine, however no one explaned that to me until AFTER I left. When I showed up there was no notes on why the damage could not be fixed. The person that I did speak to could not tell me exactly what was done to try to repair the damage. It wasnt until almost an hour AFTER I left that I received a call (mostly asking why I gave an original 1 star review) that explained what was done and why my vehicle can not be repaired. If I had been given ALL that information when I was there, or even if I had recieved a call telling me it could not be fixed, I would be much happier with the service. Lack of communication within the shop is what ruined my experience there.
