When the time comes to purchase a new car, most people are nervous. Between worrying about getting a fair deal, haggling with salesmen, and choosing the right car, the process is usually pretty stressful. Wed looked online prior to going in and pretty much knew exactly what we wanted. The day we went, they were extremely busy. In fact, there werent even any salesmen available. Thats when we met Bob. Bob explained he wasnt a salesman (he does leasing) but would be happy to help us. We immediately liked him! He wasnt pushy and made it clear that he wanted us to be happy. He even went offsite to a different lot to get the car the wanted! He encouraged us to put our babys car seat in the car so that we could go for a family test drive (which we were not expecting at all). We decided to buy the car after we drove it and Bob made the process easy and non-stressful. Bob didnt mess around. He told us the price and what discounts were available. We felt like we could trust Bob almost immediately so the need to "haggle" was non-existent. His honesty, kindness, transparency, and sense of humor made our experience wonderful from start to finish. We will definitely recommend Benton Nissan to friends and family and will be back next time we need a car!

Bait and switch. There were two similar vehicles, priced the same. My wife called and spoke to two different people who assured her that the price was correct for both vehicles and that the online price was accurate. As we were getting into the vehicle to test drive it, the sales rep informed my wife that this vehicle is actually $3,000 more than the online price and the similar vehicle, regardless of the fact that my wife had already verified the price WITH HIM previously that same day. After we loaded our car to leave and had the situation "explained" to us, they agreed to honor the original price, telling us how great of a deal it was, and essentially guaranteeing there was no wiggle room. We drove the car, decided against it, and returned it. The sales rep stood over us, hands on hips, aghast that we werent buying the car. He asked us no less than a half dozen times why we werent. Probably not a great idea to antagonize people who are already justifiably upset. In addition, the car was priced (the real price) 20% over NADA & Kellys highest retail range, when the car had damage. Also, I had to demand my license from the rep just to get it back. Wow, no thanks. Go elsewhere.

I was unfamiliar with the Nissan brand and not really looking to buy a new car as I was already satisfied with the two vehicles my family already owned but Nicole had a vast knowledge in all areas of the Nissan brand and product, so much so that it made me want to trade in one of my vehicles for a new Nissan. I was thoroughly impressed with her vast knowledge, and dealing with her was made easy as to how thoughtful she was to me, my wife , and my whole family. Polite and attentive, Nicole and her persistence are the main reason me and my wife now own a brand new Nissan Titan. It was the best car buying experience of my life. My wife receives follow up calls from Nicole making sure that we are 100 percent satisfied with the product which we are. Thanks again Nicole and the whole team who were all kind and thoughtful!!!

Man just trying to talk to this dealership on the phone is a pain in the ass. Need my mirror replaced and they wanted to just give me a run around and call me back when the mechanic came in that afternoon. What? The guy wanted my vin number over the phone which I found highly unusual. He seriously just made the whole business of what make and made I had a totally aggravating experience... "you have a versa?" No a sentra. We went through that 4 or 5 times before he then wanted my vin number. I seriously got put off and hassled the whole day. Sorry barr nissan I may live close by but if I cant work with you over the phone then I cant trust you with my car. Ill go to action nissan in Antioch tn where I bought the car. At least they didnt hassle me when I called. They said come on by.

Finding someone who can understand and go above and beyond for you is beyond hard! Some salesman are pushy and try way to hard to sale a car but not Rodney. He was awesome! Helped us out a lot, went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and answered every question he possibly could. I couldnt have asked for a better salesman! He was down to earth, talked us through everything and made sure we was taken care of from step one until we left the parking lot! Definitely will do business with Rodney again without a doubt. Thank you again & everyone at Nissan - you all made it a great experience.

These guys go so above and beyond they shocked me with service AND price. My salesman Bill Oeklers drove half an hour to me so I could get to their lot, which meant a lot to me because Ive been stressed over my two weeks of car shopping. Then, even with me being a first time buyer, Bill worked magic for me and got me a car I was interested in, a 2012 Nissan Sentra, down to the price that I could afford, which was at the bottom half of the cars Kelly Blue Book Value! These guys are honest and the most helpful car salesmen Ive worked with. I highly recommend them, and Bill Oelkers is a swell guy.

This dealer has good sales personnel but a lousy sales manager. He will low ball your trade and then try to close the sale with a last minuter offer. They will insult your intelligence. The owner advertises on both TV with discount on 2016 models and and every offer they put forth is close to fraud - go to another dealer this one is a loser and you can get better deals in Franklin or Nashville. I bought three cars from this dealer when it was BARR motors and there is no comparison with BARR and Benton.

My experience was a very pleasant one. I was referred to Salesman Bill O. and told him over the phone what exactly I wanted and down to the color. He just so had it on the lot! All app info was done on the phone, so then all I had to do is go in and sign the paperwork and pick my car up! I highly recommend doing business here, and definitely ask for Bill. He is on point with his knowledge and expertise of all his vehicles, down to the details of each one as well as their dealership responsibilities!

The vehicle purchase was satisfactory at best, though the car was not ready for pickup when we arrived at our scheduled appointment. But in pursuit of a relatively minor matter over the past month, the dealership has been woefully bad, misrepresenting on several occasions the steps that they have taken to address my complaint. Multiple complaints to Nissan Consumer Affairs about Barr Motors have not yet brought a satisfactory close to this entire issue. Very disappointing service.

Ive had so many terrible experiences when purchasing a car whether it was from a car dealership or from a person on craigslist. When I stepped in to Benton Nissan - I was pretty amazed at how well they treated me. Everyone had a smile on their face - The Sales Rep, was phenomenal and found me a car that I wanted with all the bells and whistles. My experience was truly exceptional and will return when its time for me to upgrade my car!
