The staff here is very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. They give you a scalp and shoulder massage at the beginning of your hair appointment, which is nice. However, this is one of the worst salon experiences I have ever had. My hair has been ruined by these people. Even the regional mentor stylist tried to fix my hair, and it is a complete mess. They charge you ridiculous amounts of money for the coloring services. I went to another local salon to get my hair fixed and they almost choked when I told them the amount of money this salon charged me. I wanted my hair lightened and now I have orange, yellow, and white patches all throughout my hair. After all three visits to this salon, I have left with hair that looks like it was done by a two year old. Its EXTREMELY brassy, almost like they put orange toner in on purpose. When I talked to the manager about the outrageous price that I paid, she told me that even some of the stylists who worked there agreed that my stylist charged me WAY too much for the job. When I went in to get it "corrected", they listened to my concerns and tried to tell me that its necessary to walk around with bright orange and yellow patchy hair when your in the process of lightening it. To me, if I spend $300 a visit at your salon, I should never leave looking like a clown, even if it is just a "stage" in the process. I will NEVER return to this salon, and I highly recommend that you go somewhere else for any hair coloring services.

If you want to pay $150-$170 for a salon visit that is conducted by brand new student graduates of Aveda Hair Institute then this is your place! My appointment lasted over 4 hours for a partial highlight and a trim. I simply wanted the ends of my hair trimmed but instead got an all over cut with uneven, SHORT, layers!!! The highlight color was good but the foil and sections were uneven so I got zebra lines on the sides of my hair. I contacted the manager a couple of days later and informed her that no one should leave these brand new stylists alone like that and she said that it shouldnt have been that way and offered me to come in for a correction. I went in that day to see the same thing happening.... inexperienced, new stylists at work alone. I understand that stylists have to start somewhere but this should be monitored and they should not be left alone for months until a company sees that they are well capable of doing the job. You will never see this happen at comparable salons like Dions South in Franklin, TN.

If could give ZERO stars, I would. I arrived at 2:55pm for a 3:00pm appointment. I was told, "it will just be a minute." By 3:15pm, no one had spoken to me. No one acknowledged me in any way to let me know how much longer my wait would be. All I needed was to not be ignored, but thats exactly what they did. Maybe it was because I was a guy, or maybe they just didnt care if I left...so I left. And I will never go back. I have no problem with waiting for service, if I believe the wait to be worth the service, but I will NOT be ignored. That is the worst thing you can do to a customer...ignore them.

I received a coupon for a complementary facial in the mail for new customers... I had never been to this salon, and could not pass up a free facial. :) The skin care specialist did a wonderful job, was professional, and very polite. I left with glowing and happy skin! I have a hard time wanting to pay a lot for salon services, but their facials are a great price ($30 for an express facial), I am pretty sure I will return!!!

Amazing Aveda salon with incredibly talented staff! Never had a better service anywhere than with Katie at Cool Springs! My hair is finally healthy and shiny. Kiley is a very gifted asthetician and wonderful at everything she does. Such a terrific job on brow tinting and facials galore. Pamper yourself, money well spent.

We see Katie and love her!! We went to several different salons and my son who is 15 left mad every time. I finally took him here, as my daughter goes here as well for facials. This was the first time in 2 years he left happy and pleased!! Katie KNOWS what she is talking about and I highly recommend her!
