I decided a week ago to get my hair cut. I only wanted the dead ends trimmed. I hadnt cut it in about a year and my hair had grown pretty long. {the dead ends where about an inch long.} I also decided I was going to get my hair dyed and highlighted. I called Hairplus and this woman wanted to do my hair so bad. Even though I told her I couldnt come in at the time she wanted. She was rude and after a little while I agreed and came down to get my hair cut and dyed. She dyes all of my hair first, and then she cuts it. Charging me for the length of my hair before she cut it. Witch totalled to 80 dollars! The trim turned into 6 inches cut off! The highlights added on an extra 60 bucks! And she was in such a rush that the hair job looked horrible! She had to take her kid somewhere at 5 and was rushing! I will never go there again. I cannot tell anyone how much I stressed to this woman how much to cut. She needs to be fired! Ohh the stylist name is Candi! Avoid her and blonde down there. She cant do a job worth crap. I have contemplated calling and getting my money back. Not the hair dye or cut I signed up for!

I hate to give the whole salon a bad review but, Chelsea is terrible. I asked for an ash/platinum /silvery blonde ombre and she turned my whole head dark splotchy blue! I am shocked and confused as to how she did this to me. The other ladies there have been very helpful and are trying to get it fixed for me. I was there for a total of 9 hours today and my scalp is soo sore. It is STILL blue and I will probably have to go back several more times to get it back to normal. I certainly hope they do not try to charge me because I refuse to pay for this nightmare. Even after watching me cry and have a panic attack over it, she did not utter one word of remorse. DO NOT GO TO CHELSEA, and it would probably be wise to stay away from this salon all together.

I called first this this morning to see if I could walk in and was accepted immediately. I have had long hair for a very long time and months ago I unfortunately went to hair benders and had the stylist tell me "why do you want to cut more off youre just gonna grow it back out again" isnt that the point though? Doesnt everyone do that?!?! Anyways I got the pleasure of having Whitney as my stylist and I will be going back to her because she did an amazing job. She held great conversation, understood what I wanted, and even helped me decide on bangs or not. Its probably the best haircut Ive had in years. I highly recommend her.

I have had the same stylist for 8 years, but she moved to a mens salon where the only thing I can get done is a cut, so on a whim, I walked into Hair Plus and made an appointment. I met Cindy, who doesnt seem to fit the typical stylist. She was awesome. Very laid back, very courteous and professional. She was able to figure out a great style for my wash and wear college kid kind of style. She was able to fix my layers to where they were even and to where I can wear my part on either side. I have already made a follow- up appointment.

I dont understand why people are saying this isnt a good place. I go there and have been since I moved here in November 2014. I see Mandy and she is the greatest! She fixed my nasty color, and even fixed the mullett that the other stylist in Church Hill gave me. (without MY knowledge, that lady cut the mullett without my permission) so yes, I will rave about these girls and shout it to the roof tops!Everyone there has treated me with nothing but respect. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I talk to. I love it there.

Hair plus is full of inexperianced stylists and unprofessional management. When I went to get my hair done, it was very uncomfortable due to the manager discussing personal relationships in front of my children. Eventually I became startled when she yelled at the staff over something laying in the floor. After a few other things... it was obvious she is on a major power trip. The Stylist apologized for everything, she was very nice. But I was over charged and she had to ask her manager to show her how to cut my hair.

Chelsey is absolutely amazing. She was in the top 3 at the Nationals!! She does my hair, my daughters hair, my boyfriends hair, my mothers hair and my grandsons hair. She does very beautiful vibrant coloring and top notch on hair cuts too. She is very talented at everything she does. This young lady has a very bright future ahead of her.
