I was expecting a package on a certain day, a Friday. I was keeping up with it online. It was in Knoxville, Tn (25 miles from where I live) and loaded on vehicle for delivery at 7:00 AM. I checked online around 2:30pm and noticed a note that recipient couldnt be found. I called at 2:45pm and they explained the trouble. I gave them a detailed direction to my home. They said it was on the way. Cool!! 4:30 I called again and they said it was on the way. Cool! Called again at 6:30pm and asked how long they deliver , its getting late. They said again its on the way and time was no issue. They delivered until the vehicle was empty. Cool!! Still waiting at 7pm so I called again. They said its on the way and went over the address with me again to be sure. Then the lady said, hold on here is a note from 5:30pm. Said they were having trouble locating my address and that it would be delivered the next day, a Saturday. I explained everything Ive written above. She said she was terribly sorry and that it would most definitely be their tomorrow (Saturday). Saturday around noon and nothing, so I called. They knew nothing about the day before conversations. I went through everything again with them again and they said they were extremely sorry and that they would get it to me pdq! Said it would be Tuesday before I got it because is a holiday Monday. It was 20 miles from my house early Friday morning. I live right off US HWY 70, nothing tricky. I could have driven and picked it up in 30 minutes. They flat out lied to me all evening Friday and the worst part is they are closed Saturday. They said nothing about that, said it would be there Saturday morning. Ill never use FedEx ever again. If I order something and that is their method of shipment Ill order from somewhere else. Ill never say anything good or recommend them to anyone. They are a lying bunch, tell you what you want to hear then are so sorry when you find out the truth. And there is nothing you can do about it. No matter how bad you need the item being delivered. You are at their mercy and line of BS they feed you. UPS is the only company Ill use or the postal service. FedEx is a rich company that dont care how their customers are treated or lied to. Do not use FedEx, if you havent had troubles with them. Its just a matter of time!

First time a couple months ago, I am home from work, and ready for bed and I get a call from FedEx driver. He asked if I could come down and meet him at mailboxes as they had given him a crap truck and he couldnt make it 1/4 mile up an incline. (if this was true he couldnt have gotten to my mailbox as I live in the smoky mountains in Gatlinburg and everywhere is on an incline and curvy. I told him if it fit in my mailbox he could put it in the big package mailbox. He did. (Really, meet him?) Second occurrence was a couple weeks ago and he left boxes right out in sight of all who came up the road. Left large boxes from Walmart by mailboxes on side of road. Third and final was last night. First let me say I am a widow of 65, living alone. He left 4 sixty pound boxes by the mailboxes for me to load in my car after work and take that 1/4 mile up the road. The funny thing is UPS goes up there almost daily. I guess I have a slacker driver. I am so mad and needless to say, my back is out and I am trying to tough out work on a heating pad. Thanks, again, FedEx, you always disappoint. And yes I checked my tracking. It came from the Knoxville site.

I hate fedex!!! As the previous complainer said, tracked and tracked package just to find out i sat at home and missed work on a saturday to wait on package for nothing. Tracking said i missed the driver. I was home at the time the operater said he tried to deliver. They said they would have him reattempt, so i waited. Also, the operater said he left a door tag. THERE WAS NO TAG ON MY DOOR!! Then at end of day i called again to say hey, he still isnt here. They said o well. You will have it monday, driver is on way back to hub in knoxville. The driver had never attempted to deliver, (to my place anyways) nor reattempted. So i paid ALOT of $$$ for overnight saturday delivery. And i get to wait til monday. The manager got on the phone and i asked for my $$ back since im totally out... He told me to contact the seller. All i can say is i will never use fedex ever again nor deal with any bussiness that does use them. Fedex is useless!!!!!

I wouldnt even give them one star but had to. So I ordered online so I didnt have to go to the store and pick stuff out. I have 4 kids and all play sports so life is kinda busy. First I live on a road that only has 5 houses. We all know one anther keep this is mind. I get an email stating my package couldnt be delivered cause they couldnt find our house. Funny thing is we get packages all the time from UPS. If the FedEx truck would have tried to found our house Im pretty sure he could have. In my opinion the driver was just lazy and didnt want to do his job. Which Ive had happen before. So I dont recommend them to any one. If I have to use them again I would rather drive all over this country..

Wow! Save yourself some hassle and use UPS. The driver did not knock on my door two days in a row. So I tried driving to the distro center. They say you are not allowed to pick it up here any more you have to have it shipped to a storefront. So great my package is there. I am there. But I have to have it shipped else where. Then I have to call the number they gave me. I got a lady in INDIA that spoke broken english and I had to repeat my self constantly for her to understand. Then I had to tell her she could change the shipping to a store front but she still had to put me on hold to ask some one how. So use UPS. Trust me,

Sat here all day after altering my schedule since I had a very important package coming via Fed Ex . Tracked it constantly throughout the day . I suddenly recieved an emailat 5 pm stating that the carrier attemted delivery and the costomer wasnt available . I was sitting on my front porch all day since 11 am . Nobody ever came into my driveway . I called customer service and they basically told me tough crap . NOW , since I have to sign for the package , I will have to cancel another days worth of clients . Costing aproximately $200 per day .

Was sent an important package from my insurance company (that I wasnt told was being sent to me) and the stupid delivery guy, not only came at the same time all three times he tried to deliver it when I clearly wasnt home in the middle of the day, not only came every other day instead of three consecutive days, but also didnt put any information on the stupid door tag so that I could know if he was coming back again or where to get my package. I have no clue why they chose to use FedEx because they are terrible.
