Dont stand behind their work ---- That was the only thing I could figure out when I asked them to inspect my limousines (they had already worked on two of the four and I had spent thousands of dollars repairing them over the past month!) as required by the Metropolitan Licensing Commission in Nashville to get operating permits for the vehicles within the greater Nashville area. The Metropolitan Licensing Commission does not provide a checklist that is required to be inspected and signed off on. When I asked the enforcement officer for a checklist, he said they didnt have one. He said that a good ASE certified mechanic would know what to inspect and approve I was told by the folks at Superior Automotive that they werent "comfortable" signing off on cars they had already worked on for the Licensing Commission since they werent being told what to inspect. If a customer spends thousands of dollars with me, I would find a way to become "comfortable" pretty quickly and help my customer out. I was always taught to give the customer the benefit of the doubt and make the customer happy. I wont be bringing Superior Automotive any more of my business. Theyve very effectively told me that they dont back their work, and that theyre not going to go our of their way to "Wow" me as their customer. Since they dont think much of me, Ive become a "non" customer of theirs. I dont recommend them as a place to do business with. Try anyone else who will value your business. They dont!

Outstanding and will take my vehicles to them as long as I live in the surrounding area! I just recently moved back to TN and my mother has been taking her car to them for sometime,so when my automatic window switch started messing up, I decided to give them a try. Now keep in mind, I DO NOT TRUST AUTO REPAIR SHOPS,and have been spoiled to having a close friend as my mechanic/repairman for years,but Superior has won my trust,because after getting the switch fixed,it still didnt seem quite right but I wasnt to worried well a few weeks later I discover I have a brake leak and called up Superior and they of course got me right in just as before! After dropping off my truck Joel calls and asked about the window switch and says, We Will Replace it because somethings not working right! Now I dont know many places that will guarantee their work that well,even when its a faulty part,not their fault,however,they fixed it and my brake leak,they went above and beyond my expectations! I would recommend Superior to anyone in the area!

When my VW Jetta was having some issues, I first went to the "radio promoted" foreign auto repair shop in Nashville...you know, the one that is "expanding their locations" after "starting in a barn". After dealing with them a couple of times, I realized why they can afford to expand and play radio ads... Out of frustration, I visited Superior Auto and was so relieved when they did the SAME EXACT repairs on my diesel Jetta for HALF the quoted price of the other guys...HALF! AND, it was done within a couple of hours, which happens to be what they told me it would take before they started. That was over a year ago, and Ive been back several times since. I cant say enough about Superior, and I will take my cars there every time I need the best service possible.

My wifes 2006 Volkswagen Passat had the Timing-Chain break while in operation. Its a terrible thing to have happen to a car. Joel was very helpful, explaining to me exactly what happened and what needed to be done to fix it. Matt also went above and beyond in actually getting the car back to running shape. They worked on a Saturday to help me get my car back quickly (we were having ice storms at the time during the week). Overall, I felt they were honest and hard-working. Thats what I expect when paying good money, and thats what they delivered. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good / local mechanic.

Superior completed repairs to my car at a fair price, and the job was done right the first time. They did not suggest unnecessary repairs. The mechanic briefly test drove the vehicle before returning it to me to be sure the problem was corrected. Great service.
