I had the transmission go out on my 05 Yukon. I lost 3rd and 4th gears but was still able to drive into the shop. The manager, Jack was very professional and he went out of his way to have me back on the road in three days. He did a diagnosis free of charge and then explained since there where no lights on and there were no codes being shown he would have to tear into it to diagnose and this charge would be included in the repair if I chose to have them fix it. Turns out third and fourth bands were shot and a complete rebuild made the most sense. It cost me a little over $2200 which may be a little high as I was quoted $1900 by another shop but they couldnt work on it for 2 weeks. I was nervous when I went to pick my vehicle up because the last time I had a transmission rebuilt on another vehicle at a different shop, it never shifted the same. It shifted hard and inconsistent. That was NOT the case here, my vehicle drives just as good if not better than when I took it in there. Overall I am very happy with the service I received from Jack @ Mr. Tansmission and have a 12 month 12,0000 mile nationwide warranty for added peace of mind. I little extra money is worth knowing the job will be done right.

After having another shop replace my transmission I found that the transmission was not working properly. I did not want to take my car back there because they had a "not our fault" attitude. I called Mr. Transmission and spoke with the owner. He assured me that he would give me a free diagnostic and estimate on the repair. I took my car in and left it with him. The next day he asked me to go and pick up my old transmission from the other shop and I did. He said he knew what the problem "had to be" and estimated the job at $243.00. Having just spent $800.00, I was very nervous about having the work done but wanted the car fixed and told him to go ahead. A few days later he called and said that what he thought was wrong with the car was not the problem at all. Now he is asking me to pay anyway and my car is in worse shape than it was when I dropped it off.

Recently the transfer case in my truck went out, due to have to different size tires on truck. However, I drove my truck to Beaman Dodge and had them diagnose it and give me an estimate on how much the repair would be, the total came to 2450!!! I called around to a few auto zones and advance auto parts and they all referred me to Mr. Transmission. I spoke with Jack at Mr. Tranmission who immediately had my truck towed for free to Mr. Transmission and had me back on the road in under 3 days only costing me $1689.00 basically half of what Beaman Dodge tried charging me. They have great service and also gave me a follow-up call to make sure everythign was working fine. A+++++ shop!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. First off, we have brought a car here around 5 times and nothing has been fixed. However, this experience was especially terrible. As soon as we walk in, we tell the man who is supposedly a cooperate, that our check engine light is yet again, back on. He starts rambling about us chewing him out. The owner had some problems and this dork was there to fill in. He says he doesnt even work there. He gets in both our faces and tells while calling my grandmother a bad parent. Finally we were able to talk to someone who knows good customer service. Do not waste your time at this dirty, run down, dump. Go somewhere clean and reliable.

I ONLY use Mr. Transmission for all of my vehicles needs. From transmission work to window tinting; these guys have done the works to my vehicle! Theyre competitively priced and I have no doubt that the work is properly done and guaranteed whenever my vehicle is in their hands. Even small maintenance up-keep is checked off my cars "to-do-list", as they also change my oil and check and refill all of my fluids. In my opinion: the MOST dependable place to bring your car in the Murfreesboro/Smyrna area!

Jeff is great its hard to trust people in the auto repair business I normally do all my own work but since I have met Jeff and his crew Im letting them do it saves me time money and I know what they tell me is the truth.let Jeff and the guys athat Mr.Transmission take care of you ...you CAN trust them!!!!

I would highly recommend this shop. The people were very friendly and trustworthy. They didnt immediately want to do the most expensive repair. They worked with us and told us all the options. Our van is now fixed and working great!
