My wife and my mother in law went there to get their hair done and had the worst experience at a hair salon they have ever had.The guy cutting their hair his name was Wesley and my wife did not have the correct change to pay him because all she had was 100 dollar bills. The haircut was only supposed to be $120 is what he told her so he cut her hair and put blonde streaks in it which he did a horrible job at that and he also messed her bangs up and he also colored my mother in laws hair and it was supposed to be blonde and it turned out orange. After he was finished my wife had him make change for a $100 dollar bill so he gave her 80 dollars back and my wife gave him a $100 dollar bill which made $120 and i seen him put it on his table.Well my mother in law called him the next day and he said that my wife owed him $60 for the haircut and color and that since she owed him that $60 even after i watched her pay him that he was not going to fix her hair and he felt like he did not have to.So i called him today and talked to him and he pretty much said he is not going to stand behind his work and he called my wife a thief like she ripped him off for $60.Thats the kind of people that work at this place and if you are not one of these people that treat people like liars and thiefs well then i apologize to you this is only meant for Wesley.First off i do not appreciate you calling my wife a thief and second i do not appreciate you not fixing my mother in laws hair after you butchered it up with that god awful color you put in there. So i have left a message for the owner just to let her know exactly what kind of people she has working for her and how her customers were treated so if you are planning on going there to get your haircut i would try super cuts first because i would not let this guy cut my lawn or shrubs..

Walk ins not welcome! As a long time customer, I thought I could bring my daughter with no appointment. Nobody wanted to cut her hair. They were "too busy" and had everything booked. We didnt see Michelle (my hairdresser) or Randi having any customers at that time. We agreed to come back to get the haircut from a new person in there. We came back in 45 minutes and still, had to wait, and still, Michelle and Randi were doing nothing. Randi was texting the whole time we were in there, and Michelle nothing. Just playing nice. They had done that before, same situation. I can tell walk ins are NOT welcome and after that bad service it was the last time I ever went in there. I could completely understand if they say they cant do haircuts to small children, but not lie right in front of my face. And I agree with Qtie, they play to be your friend and do a poor job, but charge VERY well. Service, haircuts, haircolor, everything is poor. Michelle charged the same for doing the highlights the first time, and then the re-touch! Except for Mia, which is good with haircuts, Randi and Michelle, NO THANK YOU! Id give ZERO STARS if I could!

The Beehive Salon is a quaint salon with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I have recently started going there because Wesley moved to that location. Truly, I would follow him to the moon. He has been doing my hair for years and I have a confidence in him like no other. Wesley is extremely talented. When I first started going to Wesley years ago, I quickly learned that I could hop out of his chair and go anywhere. I loved my hair style without having to re-fix or re-do my hair. Quite frankly in my opinion, there is no better cut, color or smoothing treatment out there. I referred several friends to Wesley over the years and they all agree…Wesley does a fabulous job. Here’s the thing…Wesley has great suggestions and ideas for helping you look your best. He is easy going, a great listener and puts you at ease. Bottom line…Wesley wants you to leave happy and feeling good about your hair. I am so very glad I have Wesley to depend because it makes my “hair life” stress free.

This is the type of salon where none of them really do that great of job cutting or coloring hair, but they bank on their attitudes to act funny, cool & friendly while youre in the chair in hopes you wont notice the sub-par work they did on your head if they can distract you with enough of their talking about random celebs, current TV shows, their own personal dating lives & other random gossip. They put you into the "were friends" mode so that when you finally get to see the mediocre job they did with your cut & color, you feel bad saying anything about it. Then they practically demand you pre-book your next appointment 4-6 weeks out before you can leave & again, you feel guilty declining since they have pretended to be your best friend for the past hour & a half. So, if you want nice, friendly ladies that do mediocre work, this is the salon for you! If you want GOOD work done & arent so worried about the social aspect of the salon, try Sam Finney at A Wild Hair!

I am now a client at The Beehive Salon, my stylist Wesley Morrison recently joined their salon, and I followed of course! Wesley is an awesome stylist, he is innovative bringing with his skill set great ideas, up to date techniques and styles. Wesley listens to his client and the end result for me has been fabulous, whether it is a cutting edge style I want, something a little less cutting edge, or a freshen up style, he is the only stylist for me!!! The Beehive Salon has a great atmosphere, as you are waiting for your hair to process, you can walk around the salon and see so much beauty nostalgia around the salon, it really gives you an insight of what people went through for beauty many years ago. The greeting staff is wonderful, the entire salon is upbeat, clean, esthetically pleasing to the eye and an overall relaxed, and a warm and inviting salon.

After having my hair done at several pricey salons in Murfreesboro area...I have finally found a home with the Beehive Salon. No wonder they won the Ruthies award for Best Place to get your Hair done! My stylist is Mia Jones...she is so personable and friendly. Her ability to color your hair exactly to what you want is the best I have ever seen. Mia always listens to me...yes the customer...and she always gives me exactly what I want in color and haircut! Now that I have found the Beehive and Mia Jones I am taking my whole family to her for cuts, coloring and proms! Yikes we have 3 teenagers!!

I went to the Beehive Salon for the first time today to have my hair cut by Randi...I read these reviews before I went, but I chose to keep my appointment anyway. I really enjoyed my conversation with Randi while she washed and cut my hair. I brought my 5 year old daughter with me and Randi was very sweet towards her as well. My hair looks great and I would recommend her to anyone who asked. I look forward to having her cut my hair again. Leslee L.
