I can not believe what I am reading, as I go through most of these reviews I can see that a lot of people have had the same problem as myself. These people try to scam you out of your money with these contracts. In my case, I signed up for a 1 yr contract. I had to cancel because I was moving out of town. I went in the facility signed all the needed paper work to cancel the contract and I find out a year later that they have still been charging me $29.99/month. It took me about a week to finally cancel it, but when it comes to me getting my money back the manager and staff are dodging my phone calls. When it comes to canceling the contract you need to speak to the accounting dept. DO NOT speak to anyone at the gym, especially not DEVIN!!!! He lied to me continously, when I spoke to the accounting dept. they told me that the neccessary paper work was never turned in, and Devin is the person that was handling it. I also, found out that he signed me up for a 36 month contract when I was only supposed to be signing up for a 1 yr contract since Im only in Nashville b/c of school. Once, I confronted Devin about the situation, he claimed that the cancellation was PROBABLY rejected and that they changed the rules of the cancellation policy around the time that I cancelled. Also, he claimed that when they send in the cancellation paperwork to whomever, that if everything is not correctly filled out or they dont have the right proof of relocation the THEY charge him $15. First of all, who is they? The accounting dept. handles all of that, and they said as long as they get the proof of relocation (mail, i.d., lease. etc...) then they can easily cancel it and that there was NO CHANGE to any rules and there is no such thing as a $15 fee that Devin wouldve had to pay. These people owe me over $400 and it can be refunded, all the accounting dept. needs is the okay from the manager, and he is dodging my phone calls. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. IF YOU DO, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!! 0 STARS

NAC is awesome! Im a Bootcamp owner at my own gym and even I go to the NAC to get a super workout in every now and then. Everything is always serviceable, functional, and not torn up like most gyms of this size. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the staff. The staff is great to me... Not sure what people expect from them. It isnt the Radisson or the Hilton... For the negative commenters... Were u expecting red carpet rollout and a concierge ?? Its a gym! Anyway, been a member for over 2 years... Love it n have never had a complaint. For people that care about the LITTLE things.. they even have a filtered water system machine you can get water from and its delicious water! lol Havent seen that at any other gym and Ive been to just about every gym in Nashville and surrounding areas. The TRAINERS on staff are extremely knowledgeable and have very diverse fitness backgrounds... they arent just a bunch of people who got certified yesterday and now their trying to tell people how to improve their bodies. They are extremely creative and talented and some of the workouts that Ive seen them lead their clients through is absolutely amazing and genius. I can always count on this place to get an incredible workout. Also, again, FOR THE LITTLE THINGS... I dont see very many women who are serious in the gym. At the NAC, it seems like all the women go hard, and are very intense into their workouts which is great.. I like competition! I go to other gyms are women are like... doing absolutely nothing but walking on the treadmill. lol... that sucks! NAC has serious fitness minded people there.. and THATS the kind of atmosphere I prefer to be in when I go to workout!

I went to NAC. This review is late, but I felt compelled due to others experiences. Lets get to it. Customer service was horrible!!! I made my payment online. Cindy was at the front desk late afternoon. I believe shes one of the managers. I checked in and proceeded. When I got several steps down, she yelled "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY?" I was startled as I already paid. She tells me "I can still workout, but that payment was needed." I tried explaining my case and she didnt believe me one bit. She had that stupid deer in headlights look like if I was lying. I spoke with Brad about two days later as someone from their staff said "Brad was much better than her." I contacted Brad and he found that payment. The site initially was supposed to transfer me to another pay site, but it never did. My payment was accepted under the old site. It was in limbo. By this time, I explained Cindy was very unprofessional. I was told from another staff person "my account was suspended." I never went back. Two months later, I got a call from collections for two missed payments!!!!! Im still fighting this cause this wasnt my fault. I definitely understand why people left comments about customer service. I never wanted to leave. Between Cindy and that nightmare customer service, it was inevitable. ***Update 08/05/17 It doesnt matter if it occurred over a year ago. That was notated during the beginning of my review. The response you left indicates your poor business correlation with the public. Diligence in resolving the matter what was all needed to be said. To make an issue of the timeframe signifies youre trying to diminish the statement.

Every front desk personnel has been helpful and can take care of customers at the same time. I visited their 3 day trial period, and I was impressed. So I decided to join. However, today being that the road conditions are iffy, the phone was ringing a lot with a few customers were waiting to be checked in and needed her attention. I happened to be one of them. This so-called manager decided to pick up the phone calls instead of helping folks at the desk. She said theres only her, etc. Ill give her that she acknowledged my presence, and I told her that I just joined but didnt get a barcode/members Id, okay... So she went to help the couple in front of me.. While I was next, she continued to answer the phone. I expressed to let her know I feel about maybe putting someone on hold. She and I got into it a bit. She now claimed that shes a general manager. See my flow here? To me, she should have taken care of the folks there. To add to this, there was another phone call, which she took and answered their question. There was another guy who just arrived; so she paid attention to him while trying to process my cancellation. I kept on telling her how unfortunate this is and asked for corporate number. Her employees has more customer service skills then she does. Hey Cindy, maybe you can learn from your employees!

I had received a four day pass and on my fourth day there was a Caucasian girl who was kicking us out three minutes before 11 saying we had to get out, i told my husband the situation and he thought id be funny to write her a note, telling her that it was rude to be kicking people out. Regardless of the situation we were still highly satisfied, so my husband and I decided that we wanted to join. The next day we went in to sign up and she went off on both of us saying that she was going to teach us a, "Life lesson!" I immediately asked for our ids and for a managers number and she threw the business card at us and also slapped my water bottle of the counter. I asked her for her name and she said her manger knew who she was. we started walking out the door and she repeatedly continued to say bye and waved for us to get out. I overheard her calling her manager and telling them that the reason that we walked out was because she didnt know how to sign us up together. I work for customer service so just because I leave at 8 doesnt mean Im going to be kicking customers out, I want them to feel welcomed. I still cant believe she treated us that way. overall a GREAT gym! but that girl needs to be fired and never be allowed to work in there again, she obviously doesnt know to handle customer service.
