They seem to listen to problems with the carriers. I had a carrier who would deliberately taunt my large dog when we put her out on her lead to go to the bathroom. He would yell and growl at her and had even been caught throwing things at her. When my ex husband approached him about this he denied it and said that we had better well keep her tied because she was obviously aggressive. We told him that she was very sweet and was possibly going to be licensed as my service Dog. My ex-husband did tell him that being aggressive with any animal could cause the animal to be aggressive. He told him that she was well trained to stay where she was, but, being a very large dog, could probably snap the lead if provoked. We complained about him at the post office and got a new carrier within a couple of days. She even brings dog treats!

Cant say much for the post office itself, but my carrier is who Im concerned with. I met him at the mailbox and said hello and held my hand out for the mail, he ignored me, put the mail in the box, then slammed it shut. Since then he has seemingly been too lazy or irritated to properly handle packages being delivered. At one point literally cramming small packages and mail into my mailbox to the point that the sides were distorted and it took a lot of effort to get everything out. Another time putting a package on an uncovered step of the porch with rain on the way. Then today he actually tossed a package from the driveway onto the porch, I knew the package had been delivered when I heard the loud thump of it hitting the floor. I looked out the window to see the mail truck zipping away up the street.

Very nice people, my package was given to the wrong carrier this morning and one of the guys from the post office drove the package to my house for me, even in the rain!
