Rude over the phone when you call, and I truly believe that my postal carrier or the post office is holding my mail, I was suppose to receive a social security check for my daughter on the first of April, I didnt get it til late the 2nd, and the stamp on the front of the check said delivery date 1st, Ive never had a problem with mail coming late before, Im not sure why I didnt receive it the day the envelope said it was delivered. How can it be already delivered to me when it hasnt even got here? I think someone needs to be investigated.

This post office may be small but the first time you enter, you feel like you have just walked in to the early 1900s! One of historical gems if Martinsville. Unlike so many post offices that have not stood the test of time, been remodeled, or updated to a Mid-Century industrial feel, this one still has all its original charm. I love seeing the old hardware on the mailbox door fronts and the murals on the walls and smile every time I walk in. The staff is always courteous and efficient.
