I asked how to file a "Lost mail claim". The male staff member said, without looking up, you do that online. My response was "ok". When he looked up he asked if I wanted information. I was confused since he just told me I had to do it online. He then responded "youre right, just do it online" and pointed at the door. Sadly, Im not the only bad review for this location. Ive had to stand in line at Post Offices routinely because they were under staffed, but Ive always been met with friendly service until I moved to Gallatin.

Ive lived in 4 states in 25 years. This has to be the absolute WORST post office on the Map. In 4 years ive lost mail 3xs at the hands of the Mail man. Either placed in the wrong box or just stolen. Investigation still yielded no results. Important mail from the Meteo police dept arrived 3 weeks later resulting in a missed crutial job oppurtunity. I recieve mail for the wrong name and wrong address frequently but sometimes dont recieve the mail im expecting. UPS is the way to go in Gallatin

I recently moved here a month ago and weve had the mail not run 3-4 times at all. I finally called in and they said our guy has been out a lot and they try to double up anothers route. So if she doesnt get to us she just comes back the next day? WTH!

I have also had multiple problems with delivery and/or lost mail. What other choice do you have? I tried to talk with the Postmaster (out of town, unavailable, etc.) with zero satisfaction.

They never answer the phone., and are super rude when you go to ask for Flat rate boxes. Especially the man
