I walked into this salon two years ago after a vigorous year of working 80+ hours/week. My hair had been neglected for that entire year and it showed. During my consultation with Lisa I was so impressed with her knowledge and passion for beautiful AND healthy hair, because my hair was in one of the unhealthiest states it had ever been in. I decided to give her a try and I have never regretted that decision. Over the last two years she has returned my hair to a a healthy state, cared for my hair and reassured me during my pregnancy after hormonal changes caused it to fall out, and my hair is always beautifully styled! I love that all the girls work as a team. On numerous occasions they have assisted to accommodate me and my restricted schedule due to my line of work. This Salon is unparalleled in the quality of the work provided and customer service. Five stars through and through!

I have been going to Strand by Strand Hair Studio for the past 2 years. I came to Crystal, my hairstylist, after going through three other stylist for a year prior to that. I wore sew in extensions. My hair was damaged and wouldnt grow due to hair coloring. My hair was shoulder length at the time. Crystal redid my sew in extensions and kept me on a hair treatment regiment. After 3 months, we saw good results and my hair was finally growing and getting healthy. Currently the length of my hair is past my bra line. I am now able to wear my natural hair. The staff at this salon are professional and courteous. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. They service all types of hair. I like their online appointment. You can see menu prices and times available for all stylist. Their prices are Good for the QUALITY and SERVICE you get.

I went in to get my twa trimmed here. It was 3 inches at the time. The stylist said it would be $45 dollars. I said ok. She didnt trim my hair at all. After she washed and conditioned my hair she said, "I dont like to trim hair at this point"....that Id have to come back in a few weeks. I said ok expecting her to only charge me $25 dollars for a wash & go. No, she charged me the full $45 for something I couldve done myself. Im not a confrontational person so I gave her the $45 dollars and left quietly. Honestly, I felt taken advantage of. I will not step another foot into this salon. .

Everyone is unique and she takes the time to tell you whats right for your hair. Not all natural hair is created equal if I come in for a silk press why you are using a flat iron instead of a hot comb. I have never seen that much of my hair on the floor. On top of that it only last two days. I was disappointed and went back to my old hair stylist. Carla in downtown Dallas. My hair is now half way down my back thanks to her.

Love coming here. My standing hair appointment is never more than 10 minutes extended beyond my reservation and my stylist is the greatest (Colette)! If you are looking for a thrifty/cheap salon, this isnt it. The average wash and style is about $70. But the ladies care for your hairs health, not just a look.
