I have never written a review but after reading the reviews below, I had to write about my experience. My first time going to the salon was a wonderful experience! I had an appointment with Isis but called earlier that morning for an earlier time. I spoke with Corey. He was very patient and took his time making sure I was accommodated. During the call he had a cancellation and was able to book me with him. When I arrived, the owner of the shop greeted me from the appointment desk. Im not sure why many of the reviews said she was rude...she was the opposite on my visit. She stopped by and consulted me on my hair and what to do about my ends. She also recommended a product for my hair. I received a wash/deep condition/cut. I would definitely go back and recommend them to family/friends!

I get my hair done every two weeks at Loc Star Salon. Im not sure about the other two ladies who commented negativity, but the environment has always been inviting and friendly. In addition to that, LocStar is very accepting of their clients differences. Paulette has been in business for a while and would address any client discomfort quickly. Ive never looked this great consistently in my life and enjoy my salon experiences every time(: Thanks LocStar!!!!

This salon has an environment that is very unwelcoming towards its customers (especially new ones), and stylists that exhibit very unprofessional behavior. The last (and final) time I came to get my hair done, one of the stylists was making racist and rude remarks against white people, as well as homophobic and other disgusting statements. I have never been in that kind of environment, and was shocked that she was making those kind of statements.

Very professional. Well advertised. Everything a good salon should be. I went in for a consultation and I was wowed. The atmosphere is chill and the employees are very nice. I was given information about the service I was going to receive before I left. I also got an invoice so that I knew what exactly I was paying for. I recommend this place to anyone looking for natural hair care !

This is the best shop i have ever been to. The stylists are very professional and caring. They dont just do your hair they treat your hair like a baby thats growing up. I want to give a special thanks to Paulette Anderson, she has done nothing but the best. The decor of the shop is friendly and homey. I look forward to getting my locs treated everytime

Star Locs is the WORST salon in Fort Worth TX. The owner Paulette is the Rudest and most Unprofessional person Ive ever met. The shop is dirty and the skill level is very amateur... I drove 30 minutes to the salon from Dallas and was thoroughly DISAPPOINTED... A definite WASTE of $65 dollars... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SO CALLED SALON TO ANYONE!!!!

I had a crochet style done 8/14 and they were awesome. I was in the chair at my set time, the vibe was great, my hairstylist was very kind (everyone was) and it only took about 90 minutes for me to be done, including wash. Price was reasonable. I have received many compliments and I have no complaints, I will be going back.

This place is AMAZING!!! My consultation revealed that my twist werent done correctly. I came in a couple of days later, got my hair washed and done the correct way and can DEFINITELY tell the difference. Paulette, the owner, is awesome. She was able to work with my hectic schedule and squeeze me in at the last minute. Great customer service, very knowledgeable about natural hair products, styles, techniques, etc. I would suggest anyone to book here!!

Was my 1st time in a salon (Imma dude) and the experience was excellent. My stylist Alexus took 2/3 the time to do what my previous "kitchen" stylist took 3 hours to do.
