My experience was horrific. I was involved in a car accident which caused bumper damage to my vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle I noticed the entire back hatch was dis-aligned & you could literally stick your hand into my vehicle from the roof. Water was leaking into my vehicle also. Marcus Denmon called my insurance company immediately, they told him to go ahead & replace the hinges, 3 minutes after I left upset, my insurance gave them approval to do so. At this point, I was impressed that they were going to fix the mess that they created. To make a long story short, almost exactly a year from the day that they fixed it, the problem reoccurred. I was told that all Ford Expeditions (especially the 2004 model) is created with a hole on the roof of the truck & they were not going to warranty their work. I have emails with proof showing that the same work that they have done one year ago has reoccurred. After making 3 trips back & forth, they finished it by giving me this story. They wasted my time & I even had my boss with me who owns a service company & has been in business for over 30 years. He was also completely disgusted at the way this companys representative & the insurance adjuster handled this, because they did NOT! After 3 trips back & forth they left us leaving with the vehicle in the same condition. So, if anybody has a 2004 Ford Expedition that has a hole on top of the right corner of their roof, considering I was told that this is normal & the way they were built....please let me know. Ill NEVER use their services again! They treat their customers awfully & I recommend them to NOBODY!!! FYI...I only gave this company 1 star because they simply will not allow you to post a review with zero stars.

I would agree with John Doe... Marcus is rude. I am a repeat customer at Vandergriff Collision South -- more than four claims now and never with an issue. I spoke with Marcus on the phone and in the beginning he was very helpful. However, at some point I requested to speak with a supervisor as Marcus appeared unconcerned driving my car was going to do more damage or possibly put me in danger as I drive 30 miles at 11:00 pm alone. Marcus told me in the beginning he was the supervisor over State Farm claims and there was not another supervisor. Then began to tell me there was no reason for me to speak with any other supervisor. At this point I seriously questioned not the content of his message but the delivery which was full of attitude. He actually stated to me, the repeating customer, he was not sure he was going to be able meet my expectations . He did finally admit there is a manager of the shop, gave me his direct number at my request, and transferred me to the voicemail where I left my message. But even at the end he was arguing with me about his customer service being good. If your customer service is good -- then why argue with me? why lie and tell me there is not a supervisor? Someone good with customer service would have said "Id be happy to give you the name and number of the supervisor as he is not in the shop at this time" and then be done with the conversation. Arguing is not good customer service.

Must be the most incompetent repair shop in DFW. My car has been in their shop for over a month & they have been giving me the same run around every single week. They didnt even acknowledge that they had my car for 5 days until I called to ask about it. Every week Ive had to call them for an update and every time they tell me theyve had to send in another insurance supplement. They mustve sent in @ least 5 by now. How can a repair shop have a car for over a month & still not know what parts need to be replaced? They are full of B.S. excuses & the evening receptionist (Mallory) has an attitude - I called back on a Friday after I was told by the excuses King, Jimmy, that hed call me back on Thursday ( like he has for the past 3 weeks w/o ever actually calling me) and she kept arguing with me that he called me the day before! Dont argue with me, I know who Ive spoken to. Do yourself a favor & go to any other repair shop anywhere else in the Metroplex. This one doesnt even deserve the consideration you gave it to click on it.

This place is super. I had my parked car rear-ended outside of my home and the person who hit me had the most shoddy and difficult insurance company. (A local company based out of Addison called Affirmative Insurance - avoid them at all costs!) Ron Daniels was my appraiser at Vandergriff and he did such a terrific job. He coached me along the process of dealing with this company and was very helpful and patient with my situation. When I was finally able to bring my car in, they sent me text updates throughout the process and called me to inform me of new details. The quote for the damage was accurate and not vastly different like some places. My car (a 2012 VW Jetta) took about a week and a half to be fixed, and the work was superb. It honestly looks brand new and was completed to the highest standard. Hoping Ill never have my car hit again, but if I do, Ill definitely be returning. If youre wondering where to take your car, bring it to Vandergriff Collision South!

Got in an accident had my car dropped off there. Never received a call that the car was delivered. Had to go out of my way to find out where my car was. They worked on it for over a month. Took 2 weeks just for them to wright up an estimate. Never provided me with any updates I kept having to call back to get updated. Amanda was the one taking care of it for me and she seemed to never be at work. When I got my car back there was still glass in it from the accident. My black leather seats had caked up white dust all over them, and I was missing my back seat floor mat on the drivers side. And the tint on my window had bubbles in it. Never giving them my business again.

Inside of my truck, driver side on lower dashboard was some kind of compound that discolored the dash ,,also my truck was cleaner than when I picked it up after the repair job ,and had to show them that my left headlight was out of line with the grill and my the guy working with me on my truck argue the point but when I had made a slight adjustment anyway that didnt put it out out of line with the fender Southern damage behind the left headlight that was not repaired

Marcus was very friendly and professional. He called me keeping me informed as my truck was being repaired. It looks as good as when I bought it new. This is my second time to use Vandergriff Collision South and they came through again. They had a rental waiting for me and returned it for me when my Tundra was ready. Really rubbish service; my car went there after a collision and they have had it for two and a half weeks and still not managed to get an estimate in. They also managed to lose the car and make everyone panic for a day. Furthermore, they keep telling us and our agent that its been sent in when the agency has not received it. Fail Vandergriff.
