I needed an ignition lock cylinder re-keyed. I called Alpha and had a great experience from start to finish. my phone call answered all my initial questions of cost, time required, etc. I was also advised that they had a lot of work at the moment, but if I came in the following morning, I could have the work done while I waited. no problem. next day I came in, the person on duty finished what he needed for a customer that was on his way, then quickly got my job done. the charge was less then competing businesses in the area, and waaay less than what the dealer wanted for the same work. in my day to day, I dont typically need locksmith services. but, I will certainly return to Alpha for my next locksmith related job.

While visiting our daughter and her family in Austin we needed a key made to open the car doors in case the keyless remote, which was working intermittently, were to quit. They had a full replacement remote keyless entry we could have purchased, but Tyler retreived the code and made us a key while his dad put a new battery in the remote and adjusted it so it would have more life. This saved us money we could use for our trip, and we made a new friend in Austin. The other companies we called earlier didnt return our call. Last month we called them to help us get into the new house we bought in Austin because the key we were given didnt work. They were great and really easy to work with. He used practical thinking to get us what we needed and we were taken care of very quickly. Just today my new housemate needed to get in to the house and we had accidentally given her the wrong key.
