I bought a "deal" from Amazon Local for a mani/pedi and was excited that my mom did too. We went together for our pampering and when we walked in, I was already disappointed. The decor and atmosphere was blah, but whatever, I can get over that. We sat down and my mom had to use the ladies room so the nail guy took that time to take a few puffs from a cigarette outside. He came in and got started right away on her nails (which meant he didnt wash his hands and smelled gross). So, now it smells like a cigarette...ah, so relaxing. Now they get going. My guy barely scrubs/exfoliates my feet. Then, he clips my nails and jabs my big toe with the cuticle cutters because he is trying to do who knows what to my toe. After a few more unrelaxing things, he does a horrible job painting my toes. Next up, my manicure. I didnt have him clip my nails because I was afraid he may screw up, so I had him file them into square shape. They were uneven and jagged. Where did this guy get his license...does he even have one? Well, this wasnt the worst part unfortunately. Next, while cutting my cuticle on the first finger he attempts, he cuts too deep and I am now bleeding. He puts some stuff on it that I guess stops the bleeding, then moves on to the rest of my fingers. By this time I am so tense I just want to run. He then puts the base coat, nail polish, and top coat on. My finger is still bleeding and he just put the nail color over my blood. My finger looks perfect for Halloween though! While this is going on, my mom is finished and has moved over to the drying station. Another woman walks in and they put her where my mom was sitting. Thats okay, except they never sanitized or even attempted to clean that area. Finally, I was finished. I dried my polish for a few minutes, but just couldnt stand to be in there for one more second, so we left. Seriously an awful experience and I will NEVER go there again!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous reviews here. Even the ones that were posted over a year ago, meaning there has been no improvement. The entire experience in the salon was pretty uncomfortable. Everyone was pretty aloof to the fact that I was there. When I asked for a shellac mani they vaguely showed me the direction to go in and then discovered that I had to pick a color based on the dots on the bottles which were packed into a tupperware. After looking through the colors for about 15 minutes, someone gave me a sheet-- the first 5 colors I picked out were not available and they didnt offer to mix colors to make it work (a very common practice at other nail salons). To top it off, the shallac manicure that I got is the worst one Ive ever had. It looked like I had let my 8 year old cousin paint my nails. I actually got comments on how BAD they looked. Also they were painted over the edges, so they started peeling off in about 3 days. I was actually THANKFUL that it started coming off because I was so embarrassed at how awful it looked. Also, during the manicure there were mani "fuzzies" that got in the shallac. They stayed the entire 4 days with the shellac manicure because they made no effort to remove them. TL;DR-- never going back. Theres a perfectly lovely salon on the other side of the gallaria for about $3 more. Lesson learned.

I had a Groupon for this Salon and I am looking for businesses to use when I relocate in the Spring. I will NEVER USE this Salon again - I was asked for my Groupon up front (equivalent of paying for a service before receiving it), which made me think that that determined the kind of service I was going to get. The receptionist was indifferent and when I asked to see the gel colors, she vaguely told me where to find them; only to discover that I had to figure out the colors based on the dots on the white bottles (they are usually painted on fake nails to see what the color looks like outside of the bottle). My tech did not use sterilized utensils (thankfully the tech working on my niece did), but took them out of her plastic tool box, and she barely worked on my cuticles or filed my nails leaving my nails uneven. Then after painting all of my nails and they were dry, she went back and painted only 2 of the nails making them darker than the rest - not really sure what she was doing at this point. Never once did she check with me to see what I wanted/what I thought. DO NOT USE THIS SALON!

I bought my girlfriend a mani/pedi living social "deal". When we arrived, I was less than impressed with the business. It looks like a used cell phone shop from the outside and not much better when you walk in. They took her right in and started on her pedi. She didnt notice any of the unsanitary tools or basins, but then she wasnt looking for them either. So as they are doing the pedi, she mentions that she needs a fill and not a standard manicure. They tell her that the voucher is for a mani OR a pedi, and that a fill is $35. I said no, the voucher is for a mani AND a pedi and I understand an extra charge for a fill, but how about some credit for the unused manicure? I could not get these people to understand what I was trying to tell them. My girl got the french pedi with the thin strip. The strip was crooked and the pedicure was really quick. Its pretty much the same as the other reviews posted. We wont be back again.

My husband got me a coupon for mani/pedi for a treat. I made an appt. and the owner lady was very nice. I sat down and the guy gets started with the fastest pedicure i have ever had. I think it was less then 15 min. I litterally said "already?". I thought it was supposed to be relaxing! When my guy was done i did notice that not only did he NOT wash the basin, but he gave the tools a cursery rinse and put them back in the resealable pouch, ready for the next customer. There is huge banner that says 100% Sanitary, but i did not see that displayed. All this made me wonder if this guy was even licensed, so I started looking for licences. I did not see a single one, i found certificates of completion but no state licences. I thought this place was questionable at best. I will not be going back.

I hate to write a bad review. Although the lady who worked on my nails was incredibly sweet, the quality of the work is awful. My husband bought the groupon for me and when I came in they let me know that it doesnt include Shellac and it would be $15.00 additional for Shellac manicure. Okay, fine. I agree with other reviewers that the pedicure was very quick. When it came to my hands, there was little fuzzy pieces of hair trapped in the polish. She tried to fix it but is still there somewhat and with air bubbles. Im not sure if the lack of quality was there because of using a Groupon but it is not a place I can say I will ever go again. In this case, you DO get what you pay for.
