Danica is fantastic! This is the only salon I have been to that has given me the auburn red I want. Not brown-y auburn, but a bright vibrant red. I brought in a picture and got exactly what I wanted. The cut was a wavy shoulder length bob. They took me in on a Friday after work and I didnt feel hurried or rushed. The shampoo was absolutely yummy and I will have to buy it the next time I come in. My wash, color, and cut looked good three days after the visit and it pained me to wash such a beautiful do! Reds fade easily, but I am happy to report my color looks good after two weeks. The staff is laid back and cool. I was asked if I wanted something to drink while waiting for my cut. I got compliments on my hair the next day and I cant wait to try something new. I felt the price was fair for the quality of work and the amount of time she took. This is a cute cozy salon and Ill be back.

I guess im the only guy on Yelp that has gotten a haircut at Shear Headcase Hair Salon. All I really needed a haircut, so I couldnt really take advantage of all the other great services that Shear Headcase Hair Salon offers. Although, Ill probably taking my girlfriend here, since my experience was so great. Ive been to a couple of local haircut places here in Austin and never been fully satisfied with the style. I had a style in mind and could never really explain it to the stylist, BUT at Shear Headcase Hair Salon with Danica - awesome btw- she figured out what I wanted exactly. She listened to my confusing, Im sure, explanation of the style and walked me to and explained what it was that I wanted. all in all go here for that haircut youve been wanting but no one has delivered.

a man needing a hairstyle makeover, I called Shear Headcase and made an appointment with Krissy. Every call on the phone even during poor cell phone reception on my end, throughout the entire experience was nothing less than excellent. The staff are very friendly, they smile, they have fun with what they do, they love thier work, and it shows. The salon has original hardware floors and has a very relaxing atmosphere. It is well furnished and a pleasure to be in. Krissy explained to me what she would do and how it would look, then afterwards showed me how to style my hair at home the same way, answered all my questions, and was extremely professional, kind, and above all did a fabulous job. I will not hesistate to reccomend this salon to anyone I know.

I cannot give this place enough stars. DANICA is absolutely amazing! She literally saved my hair and my ego and did it seamlessly with such amazing talent and sweet personality. She took me and my hair after someone butchered my color and turned me into rainbow brite, and she turned me into a gorgeous head of hair Im proud of and I LOVE. She is a true diamond in the rough and I am sooooooo grateful I found her! She will be my hair stylist from now on until she retires! Do yourself a favor and contact Shear Headcase salon. You will never look back and your hair will look phenomenal. The salon is pretty cool too! Great ambiance, super friendly people and amazing hair products that smell like heaven.

This place rocks. I come here regularly for color and highlights. I recently decided to go ahead and add layers to my long hair, and the results were FABULOUS. Last time I was here I decided to try something new… Eyelash Extensions! My lashes are gorgeous! I am absolutely addicted to them, my lashes look amazing and I don’t even need mascara (and I am not a girl that typically goes anywhere without mascara). The atmosphere is very pleasant. The prices are reasonable, the employees are super nice. Danica is the best, she always goes above and beyond to make me happy. I am now a regular here!

I seldom get my hair cut because stylists always seem to cut too much off and never really listen to begin with. Jennifer did a great job on my hair here though. Im a young mom so I need something easy. Wash, blow out, go, but still looks YOUNG, not mommy-I-dont-care-hair. The cut Jennifer gave me still kept a reasonable amount of length, not "oh you need and inch cut off, heres three", and it looks great just blown out with no flat iron. I ended up leaving with a bottle of the Enjoy Smooth and Shine, which I hadnt used before but I love it. I will be returning to get my next trim!

Lucky me, this salon is near my home. I had April correct some bad color and help me get my hair healthy again. A+ in that area, I love the results. She took her time to make it perfect. The salon is clean, the staff friendly and its a very relaxing place to have your hair done. I will be a regular. I also love the products they use. The hair color is rich but gentle, no "knock you on the floor" ammonia smell. I also bought some NouNou conditioner which is wonderful. This is the "gold standard" if you want high quality and nice people. I recommend Shear Headcase highly.

I am very particular about who I let touch my hair, so I usually just stick to the same salon in San Marcos. However, I was in Bee Cave this past weekend and just couldnt stand my split ends anymore so I decided to try out Shear Headcase, just for a trim. Wow! They did a great job. Krissy was awesome, she made feel totally at ease and I even ended up getting subtle highlights. I am completely satisfied with the results. The staff was really friendly and the prices were reasonable. I left feeling great and-more importantly- LOOKING great! I recommend checking it out! :D

My wife, not myself has had her hair cut and highlghts put in twice there. Both times she, as well as myself couldnt be happier! The owner Jennifer is such a sweet lady and Danica, my wifes stylist, knocks it out of the park everytime. My wife JUST sent me pics of her new do attached with a text stating how pretty she feels. Well she is the MOST beautiful women to me everyday and Im so thankful when she can go get somethng like this done and be made to feel as I see her. I cant say thank you enough to all of the women there at Shear Headcases. Seriously, you guys ROCK!!!

A friend of mine referred me to Krissy at Shear Headcase as she told me that she was an excellent stylist and did very thorough jobs. I was a bit skeptical at first because come-on with new stylist who isnt? After arriving at the Salon and meeting Krissy I was put at complete ease. I told her I wanted a hair-cut and highlights but let her get creative with it. I was QUITE impressed by the work she did. She was very thorough and also quite fast, as Ive had some stylist do highlights and it took forever!! Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely be returning!

I went to Shear Headcase because it got great reviews online. I only wish I would have had the great experience others did. I had an appointment with Rachel and she had no idea what to do with my hair type (thick and wavy). She cut it way too short and when I said I usually style it curly she blew it out straight which ended up in a fluffy mess. She didnt know much about the product line and sent me home with wet hair and a wet shirt. They refunded my money and, needless to say, I will NOT be going back to Shear Headcase.
