My partner and I were visiting his family and we always wanted to go and experience an evening at Departure Lounge. From the moment we stepped out of the elevator on the 15th floor our evening began with the great decor and the warm welcome from the staff. We got our cocktails and stepped out on the patio and enjoyed the skyline of the city. There were eight in our party and we had a Beautiful booth. We decided to just get small plates (a lot) and every plate was just an unbelievable experience from presentation to taste. The service was also excellent. Big shout out to the chef, amazing!!!!!

One of the few wine bars that are on the west side of downtown. We came here for happy hour after work on Thursday. They had a great selection of wines for a flight and an amazing cheese plate. If youre looking for something low-key to do on a Friday -they are hosting a classic film night (dont recommend going if youre looking for something more lively). I was afraid they would be forcing me to book travel, but both times Ive been were an amazing time with friends without any discussion of booking a trip with them.

This is a upscale downtown coffee/wine bar. When you walk it is bright, open and welcoming. It is the type of place you can bring a client or if you dressed up etc nice place to take a date for a glass of wine. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The wine is pretty unique too. Not something you are going to find at the local HEB etc. When I am downtown I like to go here. It is not as loud and crazy. I can get a nice coffee and sit and feel relaxed.

Cozy little place for dinner. This place had the most delicious bread and butter! That threw me over the edge! I love bread!! Overall, the atmosphere was super cute and cozy, perfect for date night. The plating and presentation of the food was beautiful and so artistically done! The food was too pretty to eat with that said, the food was a little bit salty for my palette but still very tasty. Ill be coming back to try the lunch & breakfast menu.

I place to relax and unwind from a busy day. I park so close, lucky, and started the weekend. Plenty of seats to go around. Modern chairs and couches provide close quarters to talk and chat. Comfy and cozy is the word. Order a flight and depart from the work day. The large windows offer plenty of hustle and bustle trying to forget... Views of the city gear up for whatever reason you may want to paint.

This would be the 6th or 7th time at Departure Lounge. A great location to wait for the bus. The bar woman kicked me out because she didnt like my Arizona drivers license. Im not angry, but Ive tended bar before; If i thought I was holding a fake ID, Id keep it and call the police. This bar woman obviously didnt know the local laws. All others have been great here.

This is a review for the travel agency not the wine bar. I contacted and was assigned a travel agent who I will not name. She had us meet at whole foods because they were closed on sunday. We made the 40 min drive just to tell us they only book those for high end resorts only. So if your looking for a down to earth vacation. Look elseware

I really liked this place, even though it is a travel agency. The lounge has a great atmosphere and is decked out in a modern style that was very class and comfortable. I went here for a meet-up happy hour and it was spacious enough for everyone to move about and the wine specials were good too!

Cool vibe, unique wines, and amazing travel inspiration with travel advisors who are great collaborators and connected around the world via the Virtuoso network. But then I am biased as Im an investor - so dont believe me just check it out for yourself.

Departure Lounge is super unique. Not only is it a wine and coffee bar, but also a travel agency. The idea is to inspire you to travel through the decor, travel books, and wines from around the world and then get you where you want to go.

Departure lounge has a great atmosphere, I bring my laptop here alot to work. Order their chocolate chip cookie and ask for it to be warmed up; delicious. They also have a great wine selection.
