There are A-players. There are players who can put these A-players to shame. Eric falls in the second category. Eric was referred to us by a good friend and it is one of the best referrals I could have gotten. I have worked with other real estate agents before (in Austin) and there is a chasm between him the others I have worked with in terms of the quality of work he does, the detailed follow ups, the no BS feedback on a property, his knowledge on almost every neighborhood in Austin, and more importantly discretion on when to show patience vs when to hustle. When he (and Bailey) was showing us homes, they were patient as we moved from one home to another. Most times we were not excited and at times when we overlooked something, he would make sure we were aware of it (even though this created more work for him). This way, we kept shopping around for "some" time. I learned a lot on what to look for in homes, what things can be overlooked, how much would it cost to fix something, etc. He is like a human version of real estate google when it comes to expertise and readiness on sharing his years of knowledge. When we put the offer finally, he was super determined to make sure that we got the best deal. Another great quality I admired was the richness of his connections from contractors to inspectors. These guys are A-players too, thorough professionals both in terms of work and money. Eric worked to help us understand how much we would be spending on this home to get it in shape based on inspection reports. His common sense helped a lot in our decision making. We obviously had our own lens and perspectives and he challenged few of those without being condescending. This helped us with our blind spots as we worked with our counter offers, leading to a successful purchase. Where it got really interesting to me was his admirable ability to hustle us and make sure we were not sitting on our butts just because the purchase was done. We planned to lease this property out and the day we signed the contracts, Eric got the property listed as a rental. He had already done extensive research on the neighborhood comps and helped price the house competitively. We got a renter in 2 days with entire background check complete and the entire credit goes to Erics team. We still had to get stuff done - repairs, yard, etc. Because he was aggressive in getting this on the market, we hustled and worked with contractors to get the house in prime condition before our renter moved in. Eric is an amazing person. He is very honest and extremely good at what he does. He also some great ideas on technology and real estate industry. I have already recommended his services to friends and family. There is no better person to go to for help with your home buying/selling.

My husband and I are relocating to Austin in the next few months, and Meredith Alderson was the person who we put our utmost trust and faith in to find us the perfect home. Words can not describe how much we appreciate all of the help that we have received and continue to receive from Meredith! She is the epitome of incessant dedication, efficiency, professionalism, and work ethic. Whats truly admirable is that she wholeheartedly enjoys and loves what she does. These are the exact qualities someone should look for in a real estate agent. From daily agenda packages with scheduled properties to immediate availability to answer questions, Merediths organizational skills are impeccable; and be assured that she will always have her clients best interest at heart. Several weeks before our actual visit, she made sure to do a preliminary phone interview to get a sense of what we were looking for, and a follow up call a few days before our trip to confirm our appointment and ease any trepidation we mightve been experiencing regarding our home search. From day one upon our arrival, we knew we were in good hands. She spent multiple full days with us showing us homes while giving us an overview of Austin all at the same time. We appreciated that we didnt to have to drive to the properties ourselves considering we were not familiar with Austin. We cant imagine the process to have been any easier, and it is all because of our realtor. Her painstaking attention to detail, remarkable organization and extreme dedication to her work is something that sets her apart. Having a realtor who can put your mind at ease and become in tune with your needs as a home buyer is paramount when relocating to a new city or simply looking for a new home. What is also important is to not feel pressured to commit to anything given the amount of time one has to find a home. Never once did we feel unease working with Meredith. She did find us the perfect home and continues to stay in contact should we need any additional help or advice. Meredith is a truly remarkable and skilled agent who knows her trade very well. She is intelligent, extremely resourceful and always a joy to work with. Without any hesitation, she facilitated assistance and served as a mediator when we experienced a slight delay from the outside party. We can not recommend Meredith and Bramlett Residential Real Estate enough and are immensely lucky to have found such unbelievable help! Clients for life.

I got introduced to Eric when he helped us find our rental apartment a couple years ago. And the experience was so pleasant, that when we were looking to buy a house, we went straight to him. And boy am I glad we did. As a first time home buyer it was important we had a realtor who was both knowledgeable and patient with the several questions we had. Eric gets high points on both. Plus he is not pushy. When we went under contract for a property where the seller was not willing to pay for the repairs, instead of pushing us to pay the extra few thousand for repairs, and be done with his job, Eric recommended that we continue searching for the right property! Initially we had ruled out fixer uppers because of our inexperience. But Eric guided us through that process like the expert he is - I have learned a LOT from him. And its only because of his guidance, that we felt comfortable going ahead with a property that had everything we needed, except it needed a lot of work. He went above and beyond, by helping us make smart/cost effective renovation decisions to ensure we get our moneys worth. And I still call him to get his advice - you can clearly see that he genuinely cares about it. He is not afraid of answering specific questions you might have, and wont hide behind "Oh, thats a personal decision you need to make" or "I am not sure how much that would cost". He will tell you his opinion if you ask him nicely :) and that was a HUGE thing for us as first time buyers. The house we liked received 7 offers, and one of the reasons we got the house was because we had Eric on our side. Here is a direct quote from the listing agents email informing Eric we got the house: "The seller has decided to go with your buyers because ..... we liked your professionalism in winning this contract for your buyers". He is bloody good at what he does! Goes without saying that I will be looking to him for help with any future real estate transactions.
