I recently moved to Austin from Madison, WI. Doug Goff and ACR were referred to me so I gave Doug a call about 2 weeks before moving. He was incredibly helpful over the phone even though I wasnt even close to signing a lease yet. He gathered all my criteria for what I was looking for and emailed me listings that fit. He also set up auto-updates, so Id get a new email every time a new place went on the market that fit my criteria. When my girlfriend and I moved down, we still didnt have a place to live. We really wanted to see them in person before choosing. We booked an Airbnb for a week and drove down. We arrived in Austin on a Sunday morning. Doug met with us that SUNDAY NIGHT to go over our criteria again after seeing many places online. The next day, he spent 4 hours with me looking at about 8 different properties. We had made a list the prior evening of about 8 we wanted to look at, but the one we ended up leasing was one that wasnt even on our list. It was just one that Doug knew about and thought wed like. His instincts were spot on and we signed the lease the next day. Doug went above and beyond anything I would have expected from this type of service. Knowing that I moved from across the country, he also gave me a ton of general tips & advice about Austin. I wouldnt recommend anyone else if youre looking for a place to rent. He can also help if youre looking to buy, which we plan on using Doug for in a year or two once were well-acquainted with the city.

Zach Sunderland helped me find the PERFECT apartment! I am moving in from out of town and began to feel hopeless when I was shown places by four other agents and locators, all from different agencies, and nothing they showed me felt right. Zach was very up front and honest about what I would be getting within my budget and with the criteria I had, which is more than I can say for the rest of the agents I dealt with. I told him a general idea of what I was looking for and the place he brought me to was EXACTLY what I had pictured when I envisioned myself living in Austin. He was also extremely accommodating and provided excellent customer service! Once I decided that I wanted to rent the place, he drove me all around town to get the necessary things to secure the place that day. Of course he is working on commission, but he went above and beyond to ensure that everything was as easy as possible for me, which he didnt have to do. Also, he agreed to meet with me at the very end of the work day because I was leaving town that day and live in Houston. On top of all of this, even though there is no benefit to him, he has agreed to meet up with me this weekend on his own time to give me the keys to my new apartment because the leasing office will be closed when I come into town to move in. If you are looking to find an apartment in Austin, Zach should be your go to guy!!

When my husband accepted a job in Austin, we were not prepared for the overwhelming nature of the Austin housing market. We were naive and first started our housing search on Craigslist. After several failed attempts, we used Google Reviews and found Austin City Realty. The husband made first contact with Douglas. Within minutes, Douglas forwarded potential homes to our email. Then after reviewing, we arranged a day to go on a house safari with Douglas. Hes jovial, kind, pointed out the one and only Dunkin Donuts in Austin, along with several other places of interest. He also relayed useful information about the city and Texas in general. There was a point when I thought we were testing the limits of his patience (we have three cats and most places had a two cat limit), but he did not give up and maintained a positive outlook. In the end, he helped us find a great place to rent We just started moving in the other day and so far the place is working out very well. My husband and I are definitely going to keep Douglas in mind for any future housing needs. Thanks!

Being from out of state it is very overwhelming to try and find a new place to live especially if you only have a week to do it and you are going from a house to an apartment. Realtor Douglas Goff made it so much easier. I lucked in to finding him online and even though it was after hours he answered and began the process in helping us find our new home. He listened to our interests and sent us a list of places he thought would suit us. As a matter of fact, when we got into town the very first listing he had in mind for us was the one we chose. Unfortunately for him, we didnt realize this until we had also seen 18 other options. He was patient, kind, and very informative of the area. He also gave us new Ohio transfers great tips on local hot spots and places to eat. He went above and beyond for us and we will most definitely continue to have him as our Realtor in the future. :)

Austin City Realty was extremely helpful in locating housing in Austin. I am from out of state and did not know the areas around campus very well. I gave Hunter Putegnat, a realtor with Austin City Realty, a description of the type of area Id like to live in and a price range. When I arrived in Austin, he had a number of apartments and houses to show me, all of which fit the criteria I had laid out. Hunter was also very helpful in getting me acquainted with the area so I could choose the best apartment for me location wise. In addition he was very easy to get along with and was happy to provide recommendations for places to eat or grab a drink in Austin. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend Austin City Realty and Hunter specifically to anyone looking for an apartment or house in Austin.

I wanted to find a decent house that wouldnt but a dent in my bank account. What I got was so much more. I was fortunate enough to have Ashley Brown as my realtor because she truly went above and beyond the call of duty. She was able to quickly set up tours of properties that offered MORE amenities for LESS than I had budgeted. I have to say I was truly impressed with her professionalism and kindness as she walked me and my future roommates through the leasing process. Ashley always made sure to check in with us so that we would not miss a deadline in the competitive West Campus real estate market. She even helped me with my accounting homework! I have to say I was truly impressed with this agent and will continue to consult her on all my real estate affairs until the day I die.

I recently moved from Boston to Austin and used Austin City Realty to find an apartment. Joe Thompson worked very hard to make the process as painless as possible. He was helpful, knowledgable, and logged many hours trying to find a great place for a picky couple with a budget that kept changing-- no easy task. I will note that he dismissed online review sites like Yelp. On one hand, those reviews can be misleading since one grudge or experience can tank a good places rating. But on the other hand, if twenty people leave reviews that there is a cockroach infestation then I would bet that theres a cockroach infestation. Ultimately, Joe found an apartment that my partner and I are now very happy to call home. He did a good job and we are happy to have worked with him.
