On the many occasions, over the years, that I have had to get my car worked on, I have been confident since I started going here. While they are not cut-rate mechanics, you can be sure that what they quote you is what youll get and they will not charge you for things that dont need to happen, or just dont happen. My parents and grandparents both trust them as well, as well as friends, including one from Houston who got stranded here when the mechanic she went to the week before charged her for things that didnt get done, and didnt let her know about the battery terminal corrosion that caused her to be stuck in Austin for an extra half day, which would have been longer but the good folks at Great Hills fit her into their busy day.

I want to Thank Rick for assisting me with getting my convertible fixed. This man was courteous, sincere and pleasant to do business with. I called Wednesday at 9:00am to ask about getting my convertible fixed, apparently it was the cylinders to the top. He anticipated that it may take a day and half to be fixed based on issue with the top. I was surprised and impressed to get call from Rick at 3:00pm SAME DAY to let me know my car was done and would call be back to finalize my repair. I was impressed with Great Hills Automotive and Rick you are an asset to this business. I will be back and refer my friends and family to this place...GREAT JOB!!

“A few years ago my car was rear ended in Northwest Austin near Cedar Park. The entire back of my car was ruined. The bumper needed repair, the exhaust system needed to be replaced, and basically the entire underside of my car needed an overhaul including the wheel alignment and suspension. I moved to Austin from Chicago where I would always use a family friends auto repair shop for any of my car needs. I looked up Great Hills Automotive and they seemed like a good family ran place, so I decided to test them out when my blinker light went out. Ken was very helpful as he worked with me right when I walked in. Replaced the light, gave me his card, and said "come back when you need something else done. This ones on me." Great Hills Automotive did a great job on my wifes car. We stopped by in the morning without an appointment - the rear brakes had gone out the night before. They also found and fixed exhaust leak a mechanic friend had been warning us about for a while. They quoted a price up front, and the final bill matched the quote exactly. The shop was immaculate. We were treated great and got great service and a fair price. I recommend them and would use them again for any of the vehicles I own.
