Those that say “they’re just the middle man”, clearly don’t understand the value uShip’s business model brings to the consumer. They are a broker between people that need stuff moved and transporters that will be traveling along the route willing to sell extra space on their trucks/vehicles. From personal experience, I can attest to the value of uShip as well as the unfortunate lack of awareness in services available through this platform. Several years ago, my mom passed away - she wanted me to have her grandfather clock. It was too costly to contract a moving company for 1 clock & I lived too far away to rent a truck & move it without exorbitant costs (rental costs & time off work). I put this on the back burner (for several years) until it was more convenient (affordable). It wasn’t until evaluating the uShip business plan, while in business school, that I realized this was a service I needed. Immediately after reading the case, I googled uShip (with fingers crossed) hoping this was still a “real business”. I was thrilled to see their website displayed on my computer, my request for a quote to transport the grandfather clock was submitted and the clock was delivered to my home within a couple weeks for less than a 1/10 the cost of moving it myself or through a traditional moving company. If you arent rushed and need something shipped efficiently, uShip is the way to go!

Point blank USHIP SUCKS!! They ALLOW ANYONE TO JOIN THEIR SITE AND WORK ILLEGALLY. Over 80% of the people on their site are illegal and carry NONE of the required proper insurance to cover your property. Uship knows this and doesnt care. Thats why they charge shipping customer a DEPOSIT, and turn around and take %20 of the total bid placed from the transporter. Uship also knows %80 are illegal and improperly insured, thats why they have gone a step further to be able to offer shipping customer insurance through uship if your item is shipped enclosed. You see uship has such a problem with this, theyd rather offer their own insurance so they ca continue to book loads and charge insane booking fees. Yes, they have it in your user agreement to check the carrier yourself, but it so small and so hidden you wont find it. Just like when all the animals died from Joe and blow carrier guys, uship got sued and they make you have a license now. MANY PEOPLES ITEMS GET DAMAGED AND, STOLEN,. PEOPLES MONEY GETS STOLEN. USHIP WILL CONTINUE TO HIRE ILLEGAL PEOPLE AS LONG AS THEY ARE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH IT. DONT TRUST USHIP OR THE CARRIERS. YOU ALL HAVE BEEN FAIRLY WARNED!!

Uship is a tremendous rip off! They do not ship anything! They are in internet broker that simply takes your money then lists the shipment with another middleman to list the shipment on another website. They stole my money!!!!! RIP OFF!!!! BEWARE UNLESS YOU WANT PAY FOR NOTHING! THINK ABOUT IT. WHAT KIND OF REPUTABLE COMPANY DOESNT LIST THEIR PHONE NUMBER ON THEIR WEBSITE.

They falsified a review for a shipping company that damaged my car. Not only did they refuse to change the review let alone take it down but they also wont help me get my money back in order to help pay for the unnecessary repair I now need to pay for
