STAY AWAY!!! Last night, Randy with Parkway delivered one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a business. He transported my 2008 Porsche 911 from Arizona to Denver, Colorado in a rickety used-up enclosed carrier with bent ramps and issues that would cause low-sitting cars to scrape while being loaded. He did this with my key IN THE IGNITION, thereby rendering the battery DEAD AND USELESS when it arrived. He did not have jumper cables, a battery jump box, or even the sense to call anyone else for help. He was completely unprepared. Instead of accepting responsibility for making the mistake of transporting the car with the key in the ignition and killing my battery (which must now be replaced), he made it my responsibility to get the car running so it could be backed off the innermost downward-facing ramp on his truck. With a friends help, I had to buy a battery, jumper cables, and a jump box. While we worked swiftly, Randy was threatening to drive my car to Lincoln, Nebraska and leave it with a towing company at my expense. When we finally got enough juice in the battery to start the car, which was firing errors and warning codes from being shut down, he unnecessarily revved the engine to its redline for over 30 seconds, as if it was a carbureted dragster. His rationale? He was "not going to let it die" and he ignored me repeatedly as I asked him to stop. Ive got news for you Randy... fuel-injected cars dont need that treatment. It wasnt going to die once running. The whole time I was telling you to stop, and you were blatantly ignoring me, you were doing damage to my cars engine and fuel system. My engine now has a knock. Furthermore, telling me to get the "F" away from your truck and that my car was your "F-ing" car while it was on your truck was reprehensible. You also cant remove the key from the ignition when the battery is dead, so the extra play in my ignition switch is damage from your attempt to rip the key out of the ignition. Bottom line, you should not be around high-end cars. You dont understand them. And you certainly shouldnt be getting paid to transport them. You deserve 0 stars and Parkway will hear from me after I do an ECU dump (showing your redline of the car) and quantify the other damage you caused. Issues involve the battery, ignition switch, key fob, and engine damage.

Parkway driver got in my face after I told him he couldnt have the door open and attempt to put my 2013 BMW X5 M into gear as it would do damage the transmission. Said the defroster didnt work... when really he was too lazy to wait for the car to warm up so that the ice could melt off the windshield. Said that if I put notes regarding what he had done on the bill of lading he would load the truck back up and take it back to Nevada. Big guy about 280lbs or so. Finally I just signed the bill of lading and told him to get out of my business. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

With almost getting hit by a parkway driver ( lease purchase ) it brings the question in my mind as to the quality of drivers they allow to purchase their equipment. .Im thinking that their screening as well as training is very substandard. ..if safety should happen to read this it was at Walmart D.C. in Riverside Ca. on 8/13 @ 1630...a white lease truck...couldnt get truck number because she was driving so fast in the parking area..later she used obscene gestures as well as language....not much for company representation

This is for a refrigerated carrier based in San Antonio TX. Its owned by a large grocery store chain and is no more or less a trucking company that services that grocery chain. Their standards are on par with any other major trucking company. I was leased to Parkway for over a year and was treated fairly. The reviews about car transport are not valid as they are referencing a different carrier.

For those who are complaining about their vehicles, you have the wrong Parkway. This Parkway is a refridgerated trucking company that hauls groceries. This location is attached to the HEB distribution center and I deliver here all the time and see Parkway trucks all the time. Pay attention who you are bashing before you start bashing.
