Went to this post office on Thursday, Oct. 13th., to mail some legal papers back to an attorney. They needed to be there by Monday. Paid $6.45 for priority mail to make sure it would get there. Promised delivery was the 15th. I got a call on Thursday the 20th to say they still hadnt arrived. Tracking showed it left the Bellaire Post office on the 14th but no further updates. Tried calling the customer service number for USPS to get a recording saying the hold time was 30 to 45 minutes. I emailed USPS regarding the lost mail. Got a call the next day from the Flatonia, Tx post office where it was supposed to be delivered. Lady says they dont have it and mostly likely it never left the Bellaire office. Tells me to go to the Bellaire office and check with them. Excuse me? I paid USPS to deliver a package which your promptly lost. Your screw up so your responsibility to fix it. Lady tries to tell me not her problem. You work for USPS so it is your problem. This is the second time this year that Ive paid extra to have something delivered quickly and it didnt make it there on time. Or in this case, at all. I filled a complaint with USPS last time and I was told I would be credited for what I had paid vs normal first class mail, and they would have Bellaire station manager call me to apologize. That was April. Its Oct. now and Im still waiting.

I paid for a p.o box on may 26th,2016 the lady at the front counter took my money for the p.o.box for 6 month did not give me a receipt at all..I paid with cash..then all my mail got returned back.then I called up there they told me to come inside..I show up this morning 06/06/2016 and spoke with the manager and he tell me they closed my p.o.box and he didnt know why he will call me at 1:00 p.m today..never got a call from him..so I called back up there and there phone stayed busy when they picked up they put me on hold for 30 mins and did not come back to the phone.. I want my money back if they closed my p.o.box for no reason ...please what ever you do dont go to this post office with long lines and one person at the counter what a night mare

This has got to be the worst, the slowest, the least efficient, the least caring... I could go on and on. Its pathetic. Bellaire is a small town, youd think the employees of the post office would know their residents and would show a bit better care and more pleasant attitude. Besides the attitude, the speed in which they operate is slower than molasses; lines of people would be forming and theyre moving like theres no one in the post office. I dread going inside for anything, I am extremely thankful to the automated machine on the outside of the post office. Shame that our great city has to have such a poorly efficient post office.

Ive got to agree with the other reviewers regarding this location not answering their phone. Ive been calling and calling and all it does is ring. Ive ordered a package and theyve marked it as undeliverable, when Ive received packages from them to the same address in the past. Wish I could speak with someone there to tell them to use a simple GPS or call my number to get directions! Phone is still ringing as I write this. Maybe if I keep calling theyll get so irritated by the constant ringing theyll pick up. OR maybe they just keep their phone on silent...

Would rate 0 stars if I could. I have been waiting on a package for over 2 weeks that was supposed to be 2 day shipping. I filed an online complaint and even called but never received a call back or email. Turns out my package was sent to the wrong address and then never attempted to be delivered again. I called this post office and explained my situation and was then very rudely placed on hold for 30 min. I hung up and called back only to find out the Office was now Closed!! Very unprofessional. On the other hand my local post man is very friendly.

I usually avoid the post office and go to Mail Boxes on Braeswood. But if I send something by mail from Mail Boxes, a postman from the Bellaire location picks it up and then it is lost or arrives three or four weeks late. When I asked a manager at the Bellaire Post Office what was happening to my mail, she said that her office did not pick up the mail at Mail Boxes. Avoid the Bellaire Post office if at all possible.

This post office is the closest one to my home. I frequently went to there to mail certified letters and packages etc. The service is good overall except that of the Africa American woman (age of around 30). She is very impatient, and easily raising voice even yelling instead of giving clear guidance when customers were consulting. So avoid her if you go to the office.

This location gets an award for the worst usps location I know. There so called "quick service door" has an average wait time of 30 to 60 minutes and most of the time they will tell you that they couldnt find the package. Forget about calling them, they will just hang up. Every month I feel like Im walking into a hell hole just going there.

I always use USPS Express. Money Guarantee. This time still not delivery on time, suppose delivery on 26th of Oct. 2015. But today 28th of Oct. 2015 still show it is at Austin,TX post office. She told me already delivered, which is not true. She said her SYSTEM not same as mine (Online checking). Do not want to give my money back.

Its a good place to go the staff is polite enough and its convenient what ever you do dont go to the location off of old spanish trail its horrible! Mailing things off is a piece of cake especially for basic envelopes they have a drive thru with around the day pick up of mailboxes have made many stops here never disatified.

I dont know what else to do. The mailman refuses to pick up packages (which are always small) from my home in Bellaire. I even write a big sign using a Sharpie: "Mailman, please pick up my out-going package." The mailman just stuffs my mail in my mailbox and leaves my package there.

Worst experience. Staff is rude, even with there facial expressions. Wouldnt recommend this post office the staff was not able to help me with passport services even after I made an appointment over a week ago. Its sad because Ive been going to that post office for 10 years.

I think there must be new management at this Bellaire USPS location. The last couple of times Ive stopped in to purchase stamps the clerks have been friendly and efficient. I visited today (a Tuesday) just before closing time, and I had less than a 5 minute wait.

Nicest people you could expect at a post office and super efficient. I love everyone here! People complain about lines and what not but these employees work at a constant speedy pace and are polite and helpful!! Thanks everyone here! And Ill see you soon
