OH MY GOD! WHERE DO I START??? I filled out 3 change of address forms on 2/1/17 (one for my maiden name, one for my married name, and one for my husband). I moved on 2/1/17, and I know that it takes about 2-3 weeks to process, so Im not upset about that. I received my confirmation packets around 2/10/17 at my old and new address (turned in my keys to my apartment on 2/14/17, so I was checking my old mailbox up until then. (You know those packets that have all of the coupons and stuff in there.) Anyways, so I notice that I am sill not receiving my mail, and Im use to getting a lot of mail. I am, however, receiving mail at my new home for about 10 different people who DO NOT live with me! I called and filed a complain with the customer service center, the manager at the Whittington office, and the manager at the Park Row office. A manager at the Whittington office called me back to advise me that my mail will be forwarded soon. Here we are on 3/13/17. I only receive mail from placed Ive directly changed my address from (my bank, friends, etc.) I received and email from an important company I deal with stating that they attempted to deliver mail to my (former) address, and that mail was returned back to them marked as UNDELIVERABLE. Really??? Un-freaking-delvierable? No forwarding or anything? WTentireF????????????????? Im freaking PISSED! I can have my teenager son go in there and do a better freaking job with residents requests! Heres the kicker- I called the managers number directly (saved the call back in February in my phone because otherwise, you wont get through on the number posted online). I got transferred directly to my (former) postal carrier. She apologized and said she had just returned from vacation on the 14th (assuming a month ago since today is March 13th) and that she had been returning my mail because (get this) SHE HAD NO NOTATION TO FORWARD MY MAIL. Good GOD! I seriously cant with the USPS at Whittington! I cant! Im so mad. So, where the hell is my mail???? (No offense to the carrier; it isnt her fault, I guess. Its the incompetent, lazy workers in administration! Im ANGRY!

insanely unhelpful employees. Tried shipping a package to japan with them and they messed up the address causing it to be returned to me and then wouldnt pay to ship it again. Cost me $150 total to get it there. Should have shipped with FedEx or UPS. There is a reason they are going bankrupt while the other 2 flourish. UPDATE: new story! They falsely claimed to have tried to deliver a package to me twice (no door tag) and were holding my package at the post office. I tried to pick it up 2 different times and both times the guy told me he "couldnt find it" and I should "talk to my courier" which apparently Im just supposed to know on a personal basis since he couldnt give me a phone number or anything. I called back the next day and asked to speak to a supervisor who said my package was easily visible and had been here all along. I asked him why his employee couldnt find it and he didnt have an explanation. When I went to go pick it up, the guy (same guy who couldnt find it the other 2 times) outright ignored me and started talking to the next person in line. I had to talk to the supervisor again and HE had to go get my package. When I handed the incompetent guy my ID to sign, he took more than 30 seconds to find my name on both the ID and the package and then accused me of them not matching despite them being LITERALLY IDENTICAL. If you go to pick up a package here and an older asian man with work gloves is looking for it, just expect him to "not find it" for no real reason. In the 3 visits, I saw about 15 people go through the line and only 2 people got their package. He just constantly tells people that they need to drive around their area to find their courier and ask them where their mail is. Funniest part is, this guy likely cant be fired, no matter how bad he is. Let it be known, the only reason USPS is still in business is because they are the only ones who can legally deliver a letter. This branch is TRULY awful and a prime example of why the USPS is bankrupt. UPS and Fedex manage to hire TEENAGERS who are more competent than the employees at this post office.

I have lived in this area since 1982 and not happy at all with the poor service of the post office employees delivering and picking up the mail out of my mailbox. Many of the older loyal dedicated outstanding post office employees (Older ones) have taken early retirement or retired from Whittington Drive Post Office and it is very obvious the mail service went from GREAT to POOR and these new replacements or fill-ins (employees) are in the habit of using little care or attention to the delivery of our mail in the 77077 zip code area. I cannot get tracking information on my packages which are dropped off personally by me from my hand to a post office employees hand. No information on the whereabouts of the package (confirmation) goes for days until it finally gets to another state! By looking at the number of complaints for the Whittington Post office, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident. and it is happening to ALL OF US IN THIS AREA. I am tired of all this and if the Postal Service is unable to perform the job correctly, its time to shut them down and have one of the other carriers take over. If you think that you will be treated with respect by postal employees, think again. As Federal Workers receiving good wages, there should be a system to file a complaint and then track it with a response. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE. WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIS POST OFFICE IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB AND NOT STRESSING THE IMPORTANCE OF DELIVERING THE MAIL TO THE CORRECT HOUSE AND TAKEN THE TIME TO SCAN PACKAGES EITHER! I AM GOING TO CALL THE NEWS CHANNEL AND SEE IF SOMETHING CAN BE DONE. I RECEIVED A PIECE OF MAIL FOR BRIAR FOREST AND THE PHYSICAL ADDRESS WAS 1.5 MILES FROM MY HOUSE PLUS A PACKAGE WAS DAMAGED AND MY PACKAGES THEY PICKED UP OUT OF MAILBOX WERE NOT SCANNED AS PICKED UP!!! THERE ARE NO EXCUSES FOR SUCH POOR PERFORMANCE IN THEIR JOB DUTIES!!

I am so glad I came on here and saw all these negative reviews!!!! I thought I was the only one experiencing the most horrible customer service!!! Lady at the counter wouldnt address me when I was talking to her thru the glass explaining after I paid for stamps I didnt receive them. She obviously could hear me and saw me thru her peripheral vision sitting at the computer like shes working. I stood there for minutes and you could tell she was agitated. The only thing she couldve did was acknowledge me. Say something. Yes, it was after hours, but Im not invisible, I am a CUSTOMER. I felt like that was very rude and ignorant. I felt like she was purposefully taunting me by not tending to me. Like - If you are THAT unhappy at your job, go work SOMEWHERE ELSE. I WOULD GIVE THESE CLOWNS 0 STARS IF I COULD!!!! DO NOT BUY STAMPS FROM THE MACHINE. THEY COULD PUT A SIGN ON IT SAYING OUT OF ORDER OR SIMPLY FIX IT. THIS IS A VERY BIG INCONVENIENCE!!!! FURTHERMORE JUST GO TO ANOTHER POST OFFICE TO SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. Edit: The following day, I went to retrieve my stamps. The lady acting surprised called the so called manager Cherry over and she started sarcastically questioning me about reaching down and getting the stamps. Wasnt compassionate or anything. This really pissed me off. You people know that that machine DOES NOT work so she was trying to make me look like an ass. And I wasnt going to say anything to her after I discovered who she was (from previous day), but she deserved every last word!!!! HOW DARE YOU. You dont deserve ANY type of management position with that mentality & attitude you have. Just there to collect a check being most miserable. What a way to live....Typical tacky country black trash. You make us as black people look so DERN bad. I hope you read all these reviews and realize its YOU NOT the customers!!!!
