Wow, Quint is awesome with hair and customers. I have 3 kids and he has always offered to stay late and do my hair so my husband can watch the kids.(even on a Friday and Saturday) Quint has fixed my hair from a bad experience with Chrome and a out of town experience and never has double charge me. My hair is long and for him to do highlights, cut, wash and blow dry it has never cost me 100.00. Might i say he does a wonderful job! What work I have seen done by his wife is awesome too! As to all the other salons I have been to around town it is 100.00. + I find Quint to be a knowledgeable and interesting person. I think he can read people very well. I can sit quietly and look at a magazine while he does my hair and not be bothered by him at all or carry on a conversation with him. Like I said I have three kids and it is nice to sit in silence sometime. I hadnt ever found his salon to be dirty. Yes I have had to wait while he swept up the hair from a customer that was walking out but its a salon. In any salon your gonna find hair some where. I have never seen hair covering the floor! Everyone has political views. I was told as a little girl to be careful about who you talk politics with or not to talk about it at all. He has never bombarded me with his beliefs. It is so hard for me to believe ellanors reviews. I have been going to sheers for about three years now.

So thankful to finally find a new salon home after 13 years of mediocre service elsewhere! The last place I went to in town acted inconvenienced by my being there, and didnt give me what I asked nor paid for. I spent a weekend reading reviews of all the salons in town, and then decided to give Sheers a call based off of those. I recommend you dont even think twice about it...just call them! Quint is like a magician with both the scissors and his color skills. 1000% on point!!! I told him what I was wanting, and let him take the reigns. I could not be one bit happier with the final product...I swear its as if he has known me my whole life. Nailed it! The color and cut is what I envisioned in my minds eye, but could not adequately verbalize. The passion he has for what he does is so clearly evident, and clearly seen in his meticulous attention to detail. My husband is always the best meter after a trip to the salon. When I walked through the door he had the hugest grin on his face, and was just shaking his head yes. Quint left him speechless!! (And the kiddos did totally go to bed early last night

After I moved to College Station over 25 years ago, I began my search for a new hair stylist. I am an extremely picky person when it comes to my hair, mind you. After I discovered Maureen, not only did I find my lifelong hair stylist but one of the few people I can honestly call a lifelong friend. Maureen and Quint Floyd have been cutting my familys hair for over 26 years. I have moved away to El Paso and now live in Austin and I have never found anybody anywhere that can match Maureen and Quints skills. I have been with them since before they opened their shop over 20 years ago and have seen firsthand the dedication and hard work they have put into it. Maureen and Quint are two wonderful people who go over and above to please their customers. They both have hearts of gold. To this day I make the 2 hour drive to have Maureen tend to my haircare needs and I always look forward to my visits with the Floyds. They have a special place in my heart.

Ive lived in College Station for three years, and this is the best salon Ive found yet. My favorite stylist moved away, so I had to go searching for a new hairdresser. I looked into some of the popular places in town, but coworkers and friends told me horror stories about their visits. I was so afraid to get my hair cut that I went over a year and a half without a trim. Finally, I posted on the local MyBCS forums asking for a good hair stylist recommendation. A majority recommended Sheers, so I sucked it up, called, and made an appointment. I could not be happier! Quint was super friendly and cut my hair exactly as I requested, exactly like the sample pictures I had brought in. I had a ton of split ends from over a years worth of neglect, and he did the best he could to trim out the bad parts. *So* happy to have finally found a reliable salon in BCS.

Wow!!!! My friend, Brittany, who has been going to Quint for seven years to get her hair cut and colored, convinced me to go with her to College Station for Quint to "fix" my latest hair cut and color disaster. I have extremely curly hair and whereas I am not afraid of color, I am deathly afraid of the wrong cut (you curly girls know what Im talking about). Quint is a miracle worker!!!! The cut and color are spot on and I dont feel frumpy anymore. I look and feel beautiful! I loved the vibe of Quint and Maureens salon-Sheers, loved the music, and loved the conversation. Oh - and I loved the prices!!! I look forward to the next visit. ps. For the person who only put 1 star - I can only imagine that he/she stumbled out of the bar Cheers after last call, tried to desperately spell that bars name and ended up spelling Sheers.

I have been looking for "that" hairdresser in College Station since moving here a little over 3 years ago. I tried several others in the area but always ended up driving several hours to my old reliable hairdresser to get her to straighten out the imperfections resulted from trying the different hairdressers that I really knew little about as far as their expertise to deal with my hair. After visiting Sheers today, I think my search for my new hairdresser is over. I was very impressed with Quint at Sheers regarding my hair color and cut. He took the time and careful consideration when determining which color to use for my hair. He was conscientious about everything and it shows in that he loves what he does! I will definitely be returning to have Quint work his magic on my hair. Love my color and cut! Thanks Quint!

Hands down my new favorite salon. As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. Quint and his wife are so sweet! They make you feel like theyve known you their whole life. I went to another salon and they did a horrible job and actually ended up messing up my hair. I came to Sheers Hair Salon hoping they would be able to fix it and Quint perfected it! He managed to save length and he blended beautifully. You can tell he loves what he does and he does a stellar job at it. Their main goal is to make their guests feel beautiful. Another plus, they are reasonably priced!! I will never go to another salon. I highly recommend Sheers Hair Salon:)
