I have been to this salon several times in the past few years, for both nail and hair services. I have been largely satisfied by the nail services, but find them to be pretty expensive for the product provided. I have been largely underwhelmed by the hair color services provided by multiple stylists in the last few years. I have experienced a color stylist incompletely removing the color on washing my hair. I waited a year or two before going back after that experience, and then experienced a color stylist providing a retouch with at least 20% of my gray hairs still showing at the end of the color. Although a second retouch was provided at no charge, I had to sacrifice another 1.5 hours of my time, and again, feel that this level of service is completely incongruous with the" Colleyvilles Best" awards posted in the salon window. I recently had my hair cut by one of the salons master stylists. This was my first haircut at the salon. The end result is a very cute haircut, which is about 4 inches shorter than what I asked for. When I commented to the stylist that my hair was much shorter than we had discussed, the stylist answered that I should have cut my hair a long time ago, "for a change." The stylist may be correct, but I believe that is my call to make. There is no way to rectify the loss of 4 inches of my hair...but I think I could have been offered a discount. Or even an actual apology. I would not recommend this salon for hair services based on my experience. Nail service is great, but very expensive for the area.

This spa, behind the friendly welcomes and warm smiles, is a very trashy spa/salon. The owner is very gossipy amongst the staff. I was so excited that I would be able to be a hair model for one of the stylist one day. The owner mandated that the stylist watch and try to perform on me and another model how to do a new style for the shop. 75% of the stylist talked through the majority of the class and never even left their chair to attempt the new product. The owner agreed to allow each client that bought the hair treatment free shampoo and conditioner to care for the treatment, but let me walk out empty handed. Therefore my hair quickly dried out. After two employees left the spa/ salon to further their career (they brought in most of their own clients to the spa when hired on) she sent out free services to all their guest to try and get them to stay at her spa. Then continued to tell guest they changed out of the profession and no longer were doing the business, when truly she knew exactly where they went. Her business is ran unprofessional and very tacky. For the future I believe a persons money could be spent elsewhere supporting a cleaner and less trashy business owner, and definitely a more elite spa for the price of the services.

I found the Village Ln staff unprofessional, incapable of properly treating customers. I was told I could not speak with my hairdresser (because she was with a client)... No problem. I was told I had to make an appt or call back, was not allowed to leave a name and number for her to return the call once she was through with a client. I was accused of the call being a "personal call" despite specifically stating the reason for the call was to see if she could perform what I needed done to my hair PRIOR to making an appt. The woman was very accusing, assumed incorrectly, uncooperative to suggestions. I later made a call to speak directly with ***. I found out that *** is no longer working there. Such rotten (lying) treatment-for what? Because they couldnt professionally state, "*** isnt here anymore, but they would love the opportunity to work me me"? Apparently their chosen behavior is not the best way to recruit and keep customers of former hairdressers !!

Let me preference this by saying I HAD been a regular client for years!!! beware of the owner, she is rude and unprofessional. The salon is not as clean as it should be. The level and quality of service has declined substantially. The last set of gel nails I got there lasted 1 day, and my nails have never been the same. Dont buy any products that you havent used before. If you purchase and determine it isnt right for you, to bad, you own it. There are several very nice day spas in the area, and I am happily taking my business to one of the other local spas. Now I am getting the service I am paying for. I would not recommend this salon for any services they offer.

The Elixir Salon has always been an excellent experience for me, and I have utilized several services, from color/cut/style to manicure to makeup application. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, offering greetings and delivering beverages as soon as you walk in the door. The above and beyond extras make you feel very pampered, indeed, with hand lotion massage during my hair treatment and makeup touch up after my service when needed. The staff is very professional and help to guide you through the process to mitigate anything unexpected. I highly recommend Elixir Salon and Day Maker to those with discriminating tastes!

I have been going to Elixir for years, and I will not go anywhere else. The prices are about what you would expect for a great salon. It is a little bit more expensive, but well worth the price. When they do such a great job on the color and cut, you can sometimes go a little bit longer between appointments, anyway. I definitely recommend Elixir for highlights and color. Very natural looking, and I get tons of compliments. And the atmosphere and people are very relaxing and friendly.

Love Elixir Salon, they go out of their way to accommodate your request for appt time. The stylists are professional. They devote their time to YOU, not to several clients at a time...as some salons have them do. My hair always looks great when I leave there. A wonderful place.. highly recomend!

There care for there clients and there hair. I never walk away upset if fact I always walk away feeling fantastic about myself and Ive had a A professional but friend relationship but my hairdresser I cant say much more except that I love it here and I would recommend it to everyone

I have been to this wonderful salon three times over the last two weeks to get ready for a family wedding, with services including pedicure & manicure by Missy and a sunless spray tan. I love Aveda products and their exceptional service and strongly recommend this salon. Enjoy!

Great salon the majority of time I spend at the salon I am using their spray tan booth or purchasing amazing Aveda products. All of the ladies have been extremely helpful and are professional and kind. I would recommend using any of their services or products.
