I booked two separate appointments here for my sisters and both stylists would not engage in a conversation with either of them. I find this to be very odd as who wants to sit in a chair for over 3 hours sitting quietly? On top of this we requested ombre hair coloring WITH A PHOTO and NO TONER WAS USED. This caused my sisters hair to come out ORANGE AND GREY. This is something that is easily avoidable. In addition, the ombre was completely straight across making her hair look like two separate pieces that was NOT blended what so ever. The stylist then suggested a newer technique instead of using this technique from the beginning. All of the good reviews on Google for this salon are for NICKI. BE AWARE OF OTHER STYLISTS IN THIS SALON. The high ratings are only for ONE stylists NOT the salon as a business.

I am so thankful for Tangerine salon and my stylist Nicki! Finding a salon and stylist since moving to the area was challenging but I am very pleased with the experience thus far. Pleasant staff, great products, and exceptional service. Highly recommend Nicki for your styling needs. I am fairly simple when it comes to cut and color but Nicki always has great subtle recommendations to give my hair and overall look a boost! Nicki is always willing to accommodate my busy schedule to work me in if her appointment book is full. And shes just a pleasure to talk to during services so thank you Nicki and Tangerine!

I see Courtney W. at this salon! She is honestly a genius when he comes to blonde hair! I came in almost 2 years ago for the first time, horrified with my brassy blonde tone and Courtney listened, and took me to the platinum hair level I had been trying to achieve elsewhere. I tell EVERYONE I know about her not just the blondes! She does it all amazing, Ive seen it. She is highly professional and always friendly! 10 out of 5 stars for her and the front desk staff at tangerine!

I love Tangerine Salon! I see Nicki Gazlay and she is AMAZING. Ive lived a lot of different places and been to many different hair dressers and Nicki is hands down the best and only person I will go to for color. She is amazing at making suggestions if you dont know quite what you want and equally as great at working with your ideas and hair issues you want to target. If youre looking for an amazing cut, color, and/or style GO TO NICKI!

What I appreciate most about her is that she takes pride in her work and will fix up your hair until YOU are happy. This salon is truly the best. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Super cool atmosphere. I am so happy I found Nicki on Facebook. She is super nice and does amazing work. She truly listens to what I want and she delivers 110%. I left there today super excited because the color I wanted came out even better than I expected. Dina at Tangerine in Highland Village has been my stylist for many years. I found her at the Tangerine Salon in Coppell and followed her to Highland Village when she moved out there. Both salons are wonderful and the Aveda products are fantastic. Dina is a precious, caring, sweet person and does a fantastic job with color, cut and styling!!

Good luck on getting an appoiment, and when you do make sure you have a second choice in hand..... mine got cancel ruining my entire day plans!!!! Ladies were very unfriendly with horrible customer service when they booked me... REASON for me not to come back, and influence my customers whom recommended this place

Had a "Master" stylist who overcharged me and learned later that only half the work was done. When I complained, a manager called me & asked what they could do to remedy the situation. I told them to stop ripping people off . No offer was made to reimburse me. They work on commission, so watch out!!

They revommended a dye for me and i washed my hair twice and its already coming out... and while i was getting my hair done... whe was pullibg so hard abd i asked her not to cut my hair shorter but she did... i also asked her to do my eyebrows and they werent even at all

Good luck getting an appointment. Seems like they are always booked up, but when I have been able to get it, hardly anyone there. Weird. Back to my old Aveda Salon, even though its a 45 minute drive.
