Amazing experience with Mary who I did business with from almost start to finish. Then I met Elizabeth the manager and everything changed. When I first moved in Mary stated that I could fit my stuff in a smaller unit to save some monthly. I decided not to even though I agreed. One day Im selling my bed out of the unit and Elizabeth drives up saying, "It looks like you have a lot of stuff, I can gladly upgrade you to a larger unit if you want just come see me in the office." I immediately felt disgusted at her greedy money driven tactic of trying to upgrade my already too large unit that is literally being downsized in front of her face. I politely say no thank you I believe I have plenty of room. A little later I am in the office speaking with Mary as usual just chatting about life, beliefs, and business. Elizabeth comes up and tells Mary to quite talking and began to try to manipulate and control her like an evil step sister. Ironically they have bibles everywhere in this office and are more than openly believers and are "willing" to talk about the word. Problem was when I told Mary to read Matthew 10 she wrote it down on a sticky note which Elizabeth snatched out of her hand like a wild raving wolf and tore it up in front of both of us and said I dont want this here. I was shocked as I looked around at all the bibles and they had offered to pray for me before and said Im confused, you dont like scripture? All that is is a verse right out of one of these multiple bibles you have lying around. Elizabeth then began to religiously discriminate on me and violate my rights of freedom of religion and freedom of speech and began to threaten to call the cops on me for what I was saying to Mary. Mary enjoyed our conversation as usual and was begging Elizabeth to go away saying hes not doing anything wrong. Elizabeth then called the cops and started lying on the phone saying I was yelling and being belligerent and that I was a religious zealot bigot and that I was blaspheming. Long story shortened I ask for the corporate information to report this incident and Elizabeth was refusing to give it me and and pretending like she was searching her computer but "couldnt find" anything. Elizabeth then gave me her friends cell phone number claiming it was her supervisors number and it was the "only number she could find". I had my 3 year old daughter in there for all of this including the police harassment as a result of Elizabeths lies on the phone. When I finally found the "corporate" houston number I called several times and could only get an switch operator who kept transferring me to a line that wasnt answered and I left several voice mails. I was never called back on the corporate level about this matter either. I am absolutely disgusted that my rights were violated and I couldnt even report the incident to the actual corporation as its now been four days since incident and I still have never received a call back. They dont deserve the one star its forcing me to review it with.

This place sucks! In the middle of a hurricane they shut off gate access preventing all renters from retrieving much needed trailers, rvs, boats, and other necessary equipment. They had power and had no flooding. If they were scared of thieves then hire a security guard. I have three trailers and two storage units at this facility. I will be moving my stuff out soon. The owner states there was an, "error in miscommunication." There was no error. You prevented all your tenants from retrieving any property that was stored at your facility. I was there during normal business hours. Additionally, I have a 24/7 access code. At least I do when you dont turn the gate keypad off. My neighborhood began to flood that morning so I began my evacuation plan. I went to your facility to get at least one of my three trailers and you had access shut down. You have a live in manager who resides over the office. She wouldnt do a darn thing. I blared my horn to only be ignored. Charges should be brought against you. I might understand if your facility was effected but the lights were on and your staff was high and dry. What an a**hole!

Fixing to move from the Tomball area to Montgomery County ... Ive checked with several storage places including Tomball, Magnolia, Woodlands and Conroe ... I was shocked and fasanated to finally find someone who was willing to listen to me and understand when I called things a what ch ma call it and thing of a jig, LOL .... Theres only one hardware store Ill shop at because I dont always know the correct names for things ... I met a delightful lady, Susan and feel like I made a new friend when I finally walked out laughing .. She was delightfull and so full of information and all I had to do was tell her what I needed to put into storage since I didnt know what size to ask for or the names of some of the items LOL ... Susans put me down for rental the first part of June and I look forward to moving that direction and hope everyone in Conroe is just half as friendly ... Thanks Susan, Wishing you and your husband a beautiful and very Merry Christmas ..

From the moment we arrived, Mary and Elisabeth made us feel welcome. They were interested in our family and friendship, not just our money. They helped us tremendously and did not overcharge us. We had a terrible experience at another storage place in FL, so this was refreshing news. The Gladstell Self Storage facility is immpecable and clean. No garbage laying around, no pest problem... they really keep their place very nice and there is also a small play area for the children in the lobby. The last day we moved out, they prorated our months rent so we were not stuck with a huge bill. The guy working was late for an appointment but still took time out of his day to help us, which we really appreciated very much! Thank you for a great service.

I called Dana yesterday and she was so patient and friendly on the phone when I asked for information. I rented from her today. Super nice lady. I like the fact that if they have to lock the office for 2 minutes or 1 hour they put up a sign saying what time it will be unlocked instead of making you wonder how long it will be. Dana really enjoys giving good service. Property in good shape except for one bar on the main gate. I purchased a lock there also. Bolt cutter proof. Well worth the $ 12. Thanks, Dana! I think you should get a raise!

I called all over Conroe looking for storage. When I called Gladstell, I knew I found the right place to store my belongings. I came right over to take a look and was impressed with the place and Susan in the office. She knew the answers to my questions and helped me with all that I needed to get started with my storage experience. I feel comfortable that my personal belonging are going to be safe and secure here. So glad I chose Gladstell for my storage place. You will too!
