Please do not come to this storage unit. I had all of my things in here for a new home I was planning on purchasing and everything was stolen!!!! From the brand new dining set in boxes to the brand new couches in their plastic wrapping. I was coming on today Saturday May 20th to drop off new washers and dryers and when I came to open the storage EVERYTHING was gone. When I asked the young lady what was going on she said the manager Rick Espinoza stated it was vacated. When she called and asked him he said he was doing a walk through May 8th and he noticed that everything was gone so he assumed we vacated. There was no phone call or anything to either my boyfriend and I letting us know if we had vacated the unit. Mind you we also had made the payment on May 1st for the unit. Why would we pay rent on the unit and take everything in it 7 days later. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not come here and do business when I wanted to contactthe manager and general manager the young lady told me I would have to wait until Monday. They have horrible organization. Please spend your money somewhere else. That would explain why my hate code was not working to enter the storage 7-20-17 Two months later and they were not able to resolved anything!!! HORRIBLE PLACE! They will not be replacing any of my items because here shows no force of entry and my same lock was still there. When the surveillance video was sent over to the police department they said it was not clear enough! Definitely management is on the robberies happening here. You would think with all the he claims of robbery they would get better security measures!

If I could rate this place less then a star I would. We have been with Great Value storage located on highway 249 a little over 2 years now. We had our storage unit broken into twice already. The first time they broke into our unit nothing was stolen and we got notified in the morning they put a temporarly lock until we got there to replace it that day with a better lock thankfully nothing was taken. Now on May 15, 2017 we get a call from the staff (Rick) and he tells us our storage was broken into we went that same day to put a new lock but we were unable to since the hinge had been damaged and needed to be replace. We were told to go the next day and it should be fixed and were told not to worry that they will seal the door and fix the hinge to come back the next day and put our own lock. We went back the next day and the hinge was fixed but the staff failed to put a temporarly lock and this time some of our items were stolen. Now we are being told by Sergio its not there fault and nothing can be done. Our items wouldnt have been taken in the first place if they would have put a temporary lock like they did the first time or give us a call to let us know they were not putting a lock and to go put our own. With all this happening and how they are handling the situation I think its time to take our business somewhere else. This storage place is definitely NOT a safe place to have your belongings I would NOT recommend this place. Having breakins is becoming a habit in this place since they know they can get away with it and nothing is being done by the company.

I have had a unit at the 249 location for two years now. Year one, 75% +/- of my belongings were stolen. Zero sympathy provided. I was told I would need to remain renting a unit until my claim was finished. 1 year and 1 month later I got a check for half the value of receipts provided and at the same time the check was handed over, they informed me of the second break-in. Nothing covered and I have about 10% of what was originally placed there. I hope someone with real power can investigate this terrible company and have Rick and Sergio along with GVS, held accountable. This place pleads the fifth

The insurance I paid for didnt cover any losses from my storage being broken into, instead they charged me more every month. Unsafe and overpriced.
