Racist comments/Stolen package. Weve had issues w this post office since we moved to Converse. My dad was waiting for a package, we received a notice slip in the mail saying he had to go pick it up in person, no big deal. When he got there, gave them the slip and his ID, they didnt want to give him the package. the package had his address, and his name just like his ID. They gave him a hard time because they couldnt "understand" his accent, after humiliating him in front of everybody, they decided to give him HIS package. My dad never complains about anything, hes an easy going guy, but Im not the type of person who puts up w disrespect, especially when it comes to my parents. Last week I ordered something online, it was supposed to arrive sometime this week. I tracked the package, and it said that it was delivered to my house on Monday. I checked our mail all week, and nothing. I decided to go to the post office this Friday morning just to check if they had it there, the guy was beyond rude to me, he said if the package was missing it wasnt his fault, that he didnt know anything about it, I showed his the confirmation, the tracking number, and the history where it saying that the package was "delivered". He said "Look, youre slowing down the line, and theres more customer after you, move over there, and write down your tracking number, address, phone number, and last name... Ill give you a call if we know anything... move over.." I did not want to argue, I moved, wrote my info on the little ripped piece of paper he gave me, he took his time w the other customer, being friendly to them, ignoring me. I never disrespected him, I never said anything rude, yet he thinks its okay to treat me like crap. This place is horrible, disrespectful, unprofessional, & on top of that they think its okay to say racist comments, putting people down because of their accent instead of helping.. they are just the worse.

There is one employee that works here Kyle H. who is always rude and even refuses to provide service to my wife. I can tell you if you encounter him I refer to him as mustache you have a 50% chance of having a bad experience. I have made complaints about him as I know others have but he continues to act the same.. After reporting this higher the solution from the manager/Post master was him not to provide service to my wife but to have another employee provide service. I guess the manager is afraid to do anything to correct the problem maybe low testosterone or just plain scared whichever I will leave this for people to read and hopefully add their experience bad or good as well so maybe someone will take action so me or others like me do not get in trouble for taking matters in our own hands. After 5 years of going to the same post office we will go to another (all due to a new employee they refuse to correct). Hopefully when the federal government decides to cut postal services they look at service and realize that is the most important part of a successful business and close this office or fix it from the top down.

I know everyone hates the post office, it is almost as bad as the DMV, but I have been to some Post Offices that actually provide good service and professionalism, this is NOT one of them. Over the past few years, I have had multiple lost packages and other mail that was never delivered. They would open and "investigation" to track down the lost packages, but of course, none were ever found. The USPS as a whole is an antiquated and damn near useless entity. I believe we are in a day and age that most all mail can be delivered electronically, and if you need a package shipped, no one does it better than UPS, or FedEx. The USPS needs to model themselves off of UPS, they always know where my items are and get them here on time. The USPS has failed as a Govt service. If you need to ship a package, try UPS, if you need Postal Service, then you are probably screwed.

I am trying to get a passport. In order to turn in the application it requires an appointment. I have called multiple times and I have let the phone ring continuously for three minutes before it disconnected and nobody ever answers the phone. How are you going to make an appointment if nobody answers the phone? Finally, today i took a drive over there without the appointment only to find the door closed with a sign saying that passport applications are only taken from 10 to 2. Would have been helpful for that information to have been made available with the phone number. So, I drove back home having wasted 40 minutes of my morning. After 10 I tried calling a few more times still no answer. Going to drive over there again see if I can get this done. I am tired of wasting my time.

My experience with this post office this morning was fantastic. A package I sent with tracking showed it was delivered to the front desk/reception on Saturday of a business that is not open on Saturday. I called the post office; got through on the first call; the post office contacted the mailman for that route; the mailman had already realized his mistake - he had scanned the package as "delivered" in error. The mailman had the package on his vehicle to deliver later today. I was able to let my distraught customer know that she WOULD indeed be receiving her package. The mailman is human and all humans are prone to mistakes. A mistake was made, corrected, and I was given the correct and necessary information. Thank you Converse, TX Post Office!!

My medication was stolen. I received my controlled medication from the VA certified mail. When I picked it up from the post office, first, the package was clearly tampered with (comes in plastic). Opened it and discovered 85 of 120 pills were missing. The bottled was completely crushed and looked like someone opened the top right corner of package then melted it back together to remove the pills. Filed a claim @ uspo, they claim that their staff doesnt have anything to open packages and reseal them (umm THIS IS THE POST OFFICE) What a waste to even file a claim with them, very unwilling to even investigate. Way to treat a US veteran!!!

We have had packages stolen out of our community mailbox numerous times! Someone straight up breaks the box open and steals the packages inside. Yet the mailman continues to deliver packages this way. And on a more than weekly basis our regular mail is placed in the wrong box and gone forever. Its unacceptable!! To make matters worse, theres nothing to do to prevent it from happening again! No one cares to fix it and there is no one to hold unaccountable for it. Ive informed our regular postman and the Temps, that dont care. The USPS location doesnt care. What do I do!? How can I insure that Ill get my mail and my packages!?

We run a small internet-based business and ship a ton of packages daily. We have used numerous post offices over the years and this one in Converse on Schaeffer Street is by far the WORST USPS office ever. The employees are lazy and rude. They have "lost" numerous packages. They have "accidentally" delayed shipping on many as well. Two different employees in this office have even been rude to MY CHILDREN. They obviously hate their menial jobs and take it out on the general public. We will drive elsewhere to stay away from the stench that is this office. We recommend you do the same.
