First off I would rate them ZERO stars if I could because I scheduled a move a month in advance for 8/13/16 between 9-10. Mark emails me at 4am that day saying they will be there between 10-11 now. At first it was no problem because I thought to myself its only an hour delay. Well 11 oclock came and no movers so I called multiple times and Mark would not answer my calls so I had my friend call and sure enough he answered her call. She asked were they running behind schedule again and how come hes not answering my calls. He gave her a bs excuse about being on a plane and said his men would contact me shortly. Well they ended contacting me around 1pm saying they would be there in 45 min and told me they were helping an elderly couple that took longer then inspected but told my friend a completely different story. mark said he would give me a "major discount" for the troubles. Well they came and moved my stuff in 3.5 hrs and thats a 3 men crew doing this move smh. I was so annoyed it took that long because one of the men wasnt doing anything but in the truck the first 1.5 and then decided to help the other two men. Ive used mark last year and for a 2 men crew it took them only 2 hours to move the same exact furniture. All they moved was a sectional, 2 flat screen, 2 tv stands, 1 king bed, 1 full size bed, 1 dressor, dinette table, and a washer dryer. Again this same exact furniture I had moved in 2 hrs with a 2 men crew last year and only paid $220($55/hr for 2men plus $55 truck fee). Anyway when they stopped the time they told me I owe $337 (wich is $75/hr for 3 men plus $75 truck fee). I was pissed and called mark b/c he said he would give me a "major discount" for the 3 hr delay and not returning my calls. He ended up only charging me $267. I will never ever used his services again. Please beware of his services. They very unprofessional. 8/23/16 UPDATE!!!! So I was contacted by Mark Morin on Friday 8/19/16 in regards to my review I posted above. He told me he would give me back $100 for my horrible experience with the movers, but he needed me to change my review because that makes him look bad. He told me he would be by that evening to drop off the $100 refund. Here it is Tuesday and still hasnt brought by that $100 smh. I was never counting on him to give me a refund, but How dare him try to scam me into changing my review to make himself look good by saying he was going to give me a refund. He should be refunding me regardless of my review because the whole moving experience was so unprofessional from start to finish.

Let me begin by saying that I would NOT ever recommend this business to friends or enemies. Mostly because I feel like I got ripped off and I felt like care was not taken with any of our personal items and the movers were more focused on looking through all of our things rather the moving them. Where to start... My husband called to get a moving quote for a 2 bedroom apartment using 2 movers. He was quoted $150. The day of our move the movers showed up 3.5 hours late with 3 people. We specifically requested 2 movers because both myself and my husband were perfectly capable of moving things as well. The only thing the movers had to do was move the 2 beds, 2 dressers, 1 kitchen table 1 couch, 1 chair and ottoman and 1 office desk. We had cleaned out all of our personal items including dresser drawers etc. The movers took 3 hours to move us from one apartment into another unit within the same complex!!! What do I think took so long? 1. The movers took over five seated breaks inside of their truck 2. They were going through all of our sports memorabilia reminiscing about their favorite players etc. 3. They took multiple personal phone calls while on the clock. (Side note- they do not use professional language. Which can be embarrassing if you have neighbors) 4. They stopped to make jokes about how the other movers were so lazy (yes, this is true, one mover came in our house and told us to look out the window and see how lazy his coworkers were) we didnt really find this joke funny since we were paying by the hour We called Mark to let him know that his employees were not being professional. He assured us that he would be giving us a discount since he sent an extra person that we did not request and since they were not working consistently while on the clock. He told us that he would be dropping off a reimbursement of $50. That never happened. A few weeks later we called back and he said he sending a gift card for $50. That never happened. and 6 weeks later when we contacted him again he responded with a nasty text saying that if we write a bad review about him hes going to have a lawyer come after us. ...oh, and they left our house with the screws to our furniture so we could not assemble it until they returned it at their convenience Needless to say, I do not recommend this company

I contacted this company because I needed movers to move most of my furniture items to my new apartment. I let Mark know that I could not spend more than $300 on the move. I was told the fee would be $75 for the truck and fuel and $75 per hour for the move with Mark being fully aware that I was in a different city. Never once was it mentioned that I would be charged "drive time". On the day of the move, I got a call from Mark around 10am saying the movers would arrive at 10:30am even though I was not scheduled until 1pm. I let him know that this was not going to work since I had other appointments and he seemd a little offended that I refused to change times. Anyway, the movers arrived at about 12:30 and I have to say these guys were AMAZING!! They worked their behinds off drenched in sweat and got my items moved and finished in 2 hours and 20mins. The only issue I had was when the job was complete, Mark tried charging me $300 even though the job only came out to about $250 total. When I asked him for the exact amount I owed, he tried to throw in something about drive time which was NEVER mentioned in any previous conversation as a way to get the full $300 and then agreed to drop the price down to $260 after I let him know that his men would not be able to get a tip. He then told me that the $40 would be a tip for his men. I did not complain much because if Im honest, these guys deserved it, but that is still not a good way to do business. Be clear and upfront with your prices and dont try to get more than what you are due. The movers do a great job that should not be marred by a bit of shadiness on their bosss end for just a few dollars more. I was also told I would receive a breakdown of my exact charges by email...I still have yet to receive it. So overall, good service but business practices need improvement.
