I called on THURSDAY to speak to Luke the owner about the poor job his movers did with my father. When he called to schedule a move he was quoted about three hours, He had a mattress, box spring, dresser, washer and dryer, a couch, a love seat, a entertainment center, a table with four chairs, and a few things in his garage, (refrigerator) and some tools. They did not show up until after 9:30 but yet the invoice said 9 AM, The movers did not come prepared with tools which they were going to need for a few of the items, which my dad used his tools for them, which he cannot find the hammer. They knocked a hole in the foyer and on the back of the entertainment center, they also took 5.75 hours, When I called on Thursday, Chris assured me they were taking this seriously especially since we used them back in AUGUST and they moved a FULL 1500 sq ft apartment and my two storage closets in under 5 hours. We called back on Friday and told them that this is ridiculous. Our move from August had a little bit of damage here and there and we decided that it wasnt a huge deal since we have used Lukes before August, and really enjoyed the experience, BUTTTT I will never use them or refer them to ANYONE ever again, My dads move cost him almost DOUBLE what we paid LESS THAN FOUR MONTHS AGO! I get we all have rough days but yall are absolutely incorrect on how you are taking this situation! This is horrible, HOPEFULLY MY HUSBAND WILL HEAR FROM LUKE TOMORROW. It is now Tuesday and I have yet to speak to ANYONE

Luke and his crew provided the best moving experience I have ever had, and that’s no small praise, because Ive hired crews to help move five times in as many years. Lukes guys worked together expertly and as impressive as their efficiency were their attitudes toward one another; even their conversations and interplay were pleasant, mutually encouraging, and refreshingly clean. They were nothing but gentlemen toward one another throughout more than 10-hours in 100+ degree heat. The guys acted like they had a stake in the company, not like employees. I was also impressed by the branding on shirts and hats, and even more on trucks that are quite distinctive and unforgettable. Even the furniture pads were stenciled with the company name and phone number! Finally, but certainly not least importantly, Luke surveyed our home quickly, with a clearly experienced eye, and correctly estimated what we would need for a successful move within an hour of the actual time it took! Moreover, the rate was nearly identical to what we have paid others for far less service that never included the generous padding, shrink-wrapping, and taping that the crew considered to be standard protocol. Moving is considered to be among top five most stressful experiences, but Luke and his company have broken that pattern in our lives. We pray that the Lord will bless them abundantly and increase their business greatly, because they honor His name with excellence in every aspect of their service.

4 guys, two trucks. Worked very hard and fast the first 3 hours. Then took a 20min break and when coming back to work worked at a much slower pace. Took a lunch break after getting the trucks filled up and before heading to final destination. Once at final destination the pace of work was 4 stars but would have appreciated a little more heads up on where I wanted items placed..if I caught them bringing an item in it was all good because I could point it out, however if I did not see them it was just put out in the garage which normally would have been fine however I would have appreciated if they would have read the labels on the boxes and separated them when they were placed into the garage. It just made the unpacking process a little more convoluted then necessary....Prices were high compared to other companies but the workers very all very polite and professional. Pros: management is great..very honest and professional. Cons: high priced, one broken item (a ceramic vase) Overall: Recommended...one broken item out of 500 items is a great percentage. Everyone involved in the company is very polite and professional. Would use again or recommend to a friend.

Contracted with Lukes Moving Services to move boxes and some furniture from three storage sites to another location. Four employees, operating two trucks, arrived at the first facility, on time, and proceeded to capably move stored items to trucks. All items were removed from storage points in a reasonable amount of time and were delivered to the appointed address. Company employees carefully unloaded boxes, moving them to rooms, as directed, frequently offerIng to move them, again, if necessary. The entire move took approximately seven hours, which was acceptable given multiple venues (three off-site facilities) and number of boxes (200-250 + several items of furniture). Throughout the day, the cadre of employees was professional, courteous, and most helpful, being particularly sensitive to our age. They were a thoroughly nice group of men, and we felt compensation was in line with scope of work, demeanor, and care given to belongings. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Lukes Moving Services to others.

I cant use enough words to praise Lukes movers!!! Specifically, Brian, Don & Nick took such good care of me and my things. They went above and beyond what they really were called to do. They were patient with me as I was specific with where I wanted things and they just had the best attitude in all that they did! My closing got delayed and they were able to fit me in later the same day. Since we got started later, they didnt get to finish until around 8 pm. It was past working hours but they never complained or rushed through what they were doing. They took their time and made sure that I was comfortable with my house and where everything was placed. They were creative and determined to figure out a way to get furniture into a room when it seemed that it wouldnt fit. If you need movers, I cant recommend this company enough. They were very professional, hard working and kept a smile on their faces!! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me!

My mom discovered Lukes when she was searching for a moving company as I had to move out of my apartment fairly quickly. We were pleasantly surprised we got to speak to an employee that gave us a quick and reasonable quote. Every other mover we called diverted us to some phone bank with a million questions. Lukes 3 movers: Tracy, Don, and Billy arrived right on time! They were professional, careful with my items, and quick. The ONLY hiccup was my bed frame was left in the parking garage and we discovered as we left but my dad tossed it into his truck...they offered to come back and get it! The guys moved all of my items into a small storage unit like a puzzle being very careful and even offering a blanket for a small fee to keep on my more expensive items. I was very pleased with the work and the fact Lukes made it so easy and local...I felt like I was a priority. Would definitely recommend Lukes and use them again myself.

Its hard to leave a real good review when youre not happy about the situation. With that said two of the three dudes that came to help were friendly, had a good attitude, and were hard workers. The third guy was rude, had a bad attitude and was lazy. They got him driving the truck. Having to babysit the third dude slowed down everything and in the end cost me. As for the office, also somewhat rude and will just yell out discounts to you that will conveniently be forgotten at checkout time. It took 3 attempts, 3 days to get it right. In the end, Once the truck arrived with 2 capabale movers, myself and the other guy, the job got done in 6 hours. Equipment was perfect, they took care to pack and not damage my stuff and I believe that they aim to be a capable and professional moving service. Customer service is what cost them a better rating.
