This review is my fault in the fact it took too long for me to find this page. I am computer illiterate and will be the first to admit it. I had a very bad experience with this company the year I moved to Corpus and they moved my belongings. A piece of furniture I had was broken, and the pieces of it kicked to the curb. All of this done with me sitting there and watching it being done. Did not complain to the company, but told the workers what I thought...could not file a claim because you cannot get money for sentimental value and my husband said he could fix it. Just recently I ran into a family that had the same problem with the company destroying things that were dear to them and they are having a hard time getting any answers from this company as to the why and what fore of the situation they are now having to deal with. Let alone getting any money back for destroyed property. I feel this is probably only 1 or 2 incidents of dischord, but how many does it take for the company owners to stand up and check out what kind of people they have working for them ! I would not reccommend this company to anyone, and if they have no choice but to use this company, then I feel a long and much needed investigation into the way the people handle themselves while on the job and on the phone is warrented. Some of the office personnel are not people handling oriented and need help and or classes on their people skills.

The van scheduled to load our household goods had mechanical problems in Atlanta and was two days late arriving. The Corpus Christi Coleman/Allied office sent one of their trucks for loading so that our house could be emptied, but our goods then had to transferred from that truck to the original van sometime later. We were surprised that the van arrived with our belongings the day after we arrived at our new house in Florida, sooner than we expected. Generally, the service was good and the workers were honest about the items they damaged. The packers from the local office were efficient and friendly. The loaders were also friendly, but not all were efficient. One worker had a box loaded with crystal dishes upside down. When I explained to him that it was a $5000 box and the arrows indicated it should be up, he replied that he thought that the arrows meant things should be pointed downwards. Obviously, he needed a bit of training. The driver and unloading crew were efficient and friendly. A few items were broken (the wing of a reclining chair, an office chair, some crystal, a serving bowl) and a dresser was scuffed. We have had the items repaired (where possible) and have filed a claim, which is pending. Generally, I was satisfied with the service, and the final costs matched the binding estimate. If I dont receive my claim, I will file an amended review.

Moving company with a great customer service policy. Each and every one of the people that I came in contact with were very positive and made my move easier. Would use them again without a doubt. Thank You Coleman American Moving Services. You saved my move from becoming unbearable .

Due to my work, Ive had to move frequently over the years, and this was easily the best experience Ive ever had with a mover. Very friendly staff, and the driver (Leon) was just terrific. Highly recommended.
