While in Corpus visiting family, my keys were accidentally thrown away. I called at least 6 different locksmiths in Corpus and got multiple price quotes. A majority of businesses would give me a quote around $140, but then say that it may be more depending on programming the key. A few locksmiths would change their price from $140 to as much as $290 for a 2005 Chevy Malibu. Pop-A-Lock gave me a definitive price of $130 flat price, no taxes added. As I kept pricing around a lot of competitors would say, "We cant match that price. Theres no way they can promise you that price without seeing the vehicle first." Well, the morning came and Pop-A-Lock was at my familys residence right on time and had a replacement key made and programmed in 40 minutes. When it came time to pay I was already preparing myself to see some additional fees or something that would raise the price. Nothing like that was found. A clean invoice with $130 total was all I needed to sign. The locksmith was very polite and had plenty of experience. I would highly recommend this locksmith to anyone in the Corpus area. Dont settle for other businesses telling you, "We gotta send someone out to give you an exact price quote." Go with Pop-A-Lock and know that youre getting an honest price right from the beginning.

We called them at 5:20pm because our vehicle was RUNNING and locked. They are located 13 minutes from our home. We called them after 35 minutes and the woman on the phone lied to us and said the tech was having trouble because of debris on the road. We have been driving around town all day long and there is NO debris ANYWHERE. They still didnt show after an hour and a half. Our car had been running this entire time and we even told them that several times!!! We ended up calling to cancel and requested from another company and they were GREAT.

I called 4 times on the 4th of July and the girl who answered was clueless, put me on hold 4 times and new nothing of there schedule or time frame. On the 4 Th call Sr. Told me 60.00 to cone an open my car, I told her the last time it was 35.00, she said let me check, she came back and told me 65.00 because it was a holiday! I told her no thanks and I would never use or recommend them ever again. They arent the only game in town!!!

I called them and asked their rates. The man told me that they wouldnt have anybody available for 2 days! Two days! This from a company that advertises themselves as open 24/7. I said, Wow! Ok, thank you thou. And then he hung up. Not so much as an apology or an explanation. What poor customer service.

The people they hire to work here must not have to pass any kind of test. I will never call these idiots again. Ill pay a little more money to get a real locksmith. Thats 45 minutes of my life Ill never get back.

They damged my lock and runaway. I tried to call and they were so rude with me, they didnt want pay for it and said that they arent responsible for damages. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
