Im a new home owner in the Arlington area, I gave a call to A-1 and inquired about a lock. The service was extremely rude. They CLEARLY did not want to help me. I described to them my problem and you could tell with every step of my description he didnt want to listen to a word I had to say. After 5 minutes of brief description, he started repeating over and over "We will have to order it. We will have to order it." He did NOT know enough about the lock to know which one it is, he just wanted me off the phone. I have to agree with Kristi... with the difficulty of the economy as it is... and how hard it is to find a job... its disappointing that employees act this way while getting their paycheck. I work for far less, and for more hours, and hard labor, and I am not obligated to even talk to customers and I find it in myself to maintain a clear and friendly attitude to every customer I come into contact with. Of the 4 locksmiths I called, this one really fouled my day up, I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I am am manager of a salon calling on behalf of a guest who locked their keys in their car. My job is 100 % about customer services!! I was quoted 15-20 minutes for a locksmith to show up and call me in route to let me know they were here. No phone call and no show for over 45 minutes!! Very poor customer service if you ask me. Horribly rude on phone when I called back. Horribly! Im sure their owner would be sadly dissapointed to know this is how our hard working America struggling to find employment is appreciating their paycheck. Called another company and they came right away. A-1 aint number 1.

Service man commented Michaels Keys would charge $150 just to come in the door. He opened a door which we couldnt turn the knob. Disassembled the knob and told us we had a broken piece that we needed to order. Left, charged us $150 and still have a non-functional door knob. When the piece I ordered came in I called them back and they said they would wave the destination charge but it would be up to the service man how much to charge. Michaels rekeyed 9 doors in my house for $275. Ill never call A-1 again. Good luck if you call A-1 for any service..

I work for an auto service center and we have used A-1 in the past. This recent call we needed them to open the trunk on a 1963 Ford Thunderbird that our customer had lost the key for. Not only was he prompt getting here he had the trunk open and re-keyed within 30 minutes of getting here. He had the correct blank for the year of the vehicle and the knowledge to open the vehicle up with no damage to an original/non-restored finish. Thank you A-1.

Called A1 last night about an hour before I needed them to assist with our storage unit where we lost the key to our pad lock and the technician was there 15 mins early and very professional and friendly during the service call. I had called other companies before that and got the run around or no call back at all. Thank you A1

This location is right near our house so it is very easy to get in and out. The staff is great. I have sent several friends and family here to look at gun or drop safes and they all come back telling me how great A-1 is.

Was told locksmith would show up within the hour and he did as promised. Total job took less than 15 minutes and even though total (plus service call) was $150, I was in a real bind so it was worth it.

Did exactly what I needed faster and at less cost than several competitors in the area. Andrew Eick was great to work with. I wont have to call around the next time I need this kind of service!

Polite and helpful. I came to get a key copied for my motorcycle and it only cost me $7, which felt reasonable. Walmart didnt have what I was looking for, so Im glad A-1 did.

Charles from the Fort Worth location (I believe) was persistent in finding the location of a lock out for someone I stopped to help. Nice job on seeing the call through

Charles (242) was extremely helpful and friendly. I had lost my only key to my 2000 Ford F150, and he had me back on the road in no time. Thanks a lot guys!

The staff member worked for 20 plus mins trying to pick a lock on my truck toolbox. (It had something jammed in it). They finally got it removed.
