Beware of Allways Moving. Use a UHaul and a few friends instead for your long distance move. I think the success of a long distance move depends on three factors: (1) whether your stuff gets to the desired location without too much damage (2) whether your stuff gets to the desired location on time and (3) your peace of mind throughout this whole process. To be fair, Allways succeeded in factor #1 for me: everything I packed in TN arrived in one piece in NYC. With respect to factors 2 and 3, however, Allways made my move a hellacious experience. First, my things arrived in New York three and a half weeks after the date of delivery I specified, which also happened to be 1.5 weeks after Allwayss window of delivery that led me to enter into a contract with them in the first place. I was only more frustrated when Allways was simply unable to tell me where my things were when I called -- Im pretty sure this is because Allways is a middle man with few trucks who contracts with local movers to get your things where they are supposed to go. This means that when I had gone for days sleeping on the floor with no idea when my stuff would arrive, I would call Allways to inquire when I could expect my mattress, bed, etc, and the customer service representative would never know. Moreover, their reps would take down my contact information, promise to give me a call after talking with "dispatch," and then NEVER call me back. When they finally informed me that my things were shipped from their warehouse, they gave me the number for the driver, who, in turn, would never pick up his phone or answer my text messages. When I would calmly explain my frustration to the customer service representative, I would get attitude in return as if I was the dumbest person in the world for worrying about the fact that they had no clue where all of my worldly possessions were. When iPhones and GPS have become commonplace, it should not be that hard for a moving company to know where your stuff is. Unfortunately, with Allways moving, you are paying for several weeks sleeping on the floor and a blind faith that your things will arrive at all. Look carefully at the 5/5 reviews below: they all have weird yet similar grammatical mistakes and follow the same general sentence structure. Im fairly positive they are all fake. Look too at the sample customer reviews on their web site. How do I know they are fake? Because I am a customer whose move was completed, and I never received a feedback form to fill out. Again, all of my stuff did arrive in one piece. Allways made every other detail of this move, however, as difficult as possible. Get a UHaul and a few friends instead for your long distance move.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They manipulate people into thinking they will be fast, efficient, and accommodating, but that was far from the case. The communication between the dispatcher and the drivers are horrendous. We were told they would be there on Tuesday between 10-12, then got a call that they would be there later that evening between 4-6. Soon after, we got a call they got held up, but would be there first thing in the morning around 8-10. The movers finally showed up at 6 oclock Wednesday evening and apologized because they were in traffic all day. I lived in Allen, Texas, which is approximately 60 minutes outside of Dallas with traffic. It should not have taken 10 hours for the movers to arrive. But the movers did do a good job of loading up everything, minus charging for extra boxers that they said we could change later. I thought this would be the end of the headache, but that is far from the case. Once I arrived at my new place, I called the company to make sure that they were en route to delivering my stuff. I did not talk to anything outside of an answering machine for four days straight. I let countless voicemails, sent emails, and called every number that I had. Once I was finally able to track someone down, they told me that my stuff was en route last Thursday. It is now Tuesday and I spent the past weekend calling again to talk to someone, but alas, nobody could answer the phone again. I guess they met their once answer a week quota. After much calling, I was finally able to talk to someone that wasnt pre-recorded and was told that everything the previous guy I spoke to was, in fact, incorrect. Now I am told that my stuff will be here within the next 21 business days. Thankfully I have somewhere to stay, otherwise this company would have left me homeless. So if you want to overpay for terrible customer service, poor time management, and phone call roulette, be my guest. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and move your stuff yourself or use another company.

Horrible horrible horrible. Look at reviews and F score on BBB before you use them. Ive been unable to contact customer service rep who promised to be available for questions. Rude staff, unreliable, unprofessional. I hired Allways Moving to do a move from Indiana-California. It is still currently in the process of delivery. I used a third party site to get estimates from multiple moving companies. I was contacted by Heather who provided great customer service and an estimate. After the bill was paid, I was promised by Heather that she would be available to assist me with any questions. However, multiple emails and calls following up with her were never returned or answered. The mover was supposed to call 24hrs in advance before the move. I received a call at 10pm the night before the move. The mover then was 3 hours late for the scheduled move, arriving at 9:30pm. All the while I couldnt get a hold of Heather to let me know what was going on. The move onto the truck went relatively smooth however the mover mentioned I did not have the 10% deposit on record. I have email proof that I did pay the 10% estimate by CC. The time estimate I was given for delivery was between 7-21 days, with her stating it would be around 7-8 days. Today is day 8. I called and tried to get a hold of Heather again to get a delivery estimate, of course as previously she is no where to be found. I then talk to the representative who answers the phone. I express my discontent on how my case is being handled and how I cannot get a hold of Heather. He starts to get aggressive and defensive so I ask to speak with a manager whom I am informed has just stepped out. So I ask that his manager call me back before the end of the day and I am then hung up on. The customer service reps are rude and inconsistent making me feel uncomfortable with my belongings in their care.

Absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life. I highly recommend NOT to use this company. Their service and their staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. They came 2 days late to pick up our stuff. They held our stuff for 1.5 months longer than they promised us and when we called, they had no idea where it was located. They lost 5 of our boxes! They tried to give us other peoples stuff. And, they broke a lot of our stuff that was packed in the boxes. We wrote "fragile" absurdly large on every side of the box and these boxes looked like they were kicked, beaten and thrown around. It was not a surprise that everything inside was broken. We had to argue with service representatives the entire time during this ordeal and they were very unfriendly. Most importantly, they quoted us a really low price, then added several hundreds of dollars on the day they came because they "under-estimated" our stuff. We had no choice, but to pay because we had already planned our move and felt like we were taken advantage of. I would avoid this company and go with someone more reliable. Im in the middle of submitting my claim to report my missing stuff and it has been a total nightmare. Such a terrible company that should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.
