Moving itself wasnt too bad, called and was told they had my available time. Alright, cool. I tell him I have a ONE bedroom apartment with some minor heavy things and he tells me its 150$/hr with a two hour minimum plus gas, etc. Awesome. Proceed to move in day guys come around 9, nice and friendly but then take till 1 to finish at my place. Understandable. My fiancé calls me when they go to unload and tells me its 900$. This is AFTER my $150 deposit. Wait, what?? They nickeled and dimed the hell out of me and we had to move boxes and other things ourselves anyways. I called to talk to someone and he told me he had recorded our conversation and that "400 was the MINIMUM cost that it would be and a move normally costs anywhere from 800-1500" which he did not mention at all and is not what I had heard because I asked him for the high end. I am so so upset because were getting married in October and that was part of our savings for a honeymoon. Im calling customer service tomorrow when they open to complain but Im sure nothing will happen. Also explain to me how my 1130$ bill is that much and these guys make 9.00$ /hr? Im just really upset I let myself get bullied into paying this much for moving. I will be telling EVERY friend and EVERY family member or ANYONE who will hear me out to not use this company. Ill upload a picture of my bill when I can find my computer. ****5/28/17 update**** Called customer service, explained what had happened, was really nice and tried to be understanding. Man on the phone told me "everything seemed in place and there was absolutely nothing he could do" Im beyond disgusted with this company and told everyone I work with (a medical office so we have lots of people) to never use this service. Ill be uploading pictures of all of thier unnecessary packing (like unscrewing 60 screws out of bed slats when they could have moved it as one piece) when I unpack my computer. I also realized they called halfway through them packing to see how they were doing because they hadnt finished yet, Im still flabbergasted they managed to tell me everything was in order on thier end.

Save your money and look elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE. We spent $1,200.00 on a FOUR hour move with a three man crew. The move itself was 4 hours.. 12:30 to 4:30 and cost $596.. the remaining $604 was from fees... FEES! First off, they sent a three man crew and one of them was injured, so he did not do anything excpet supervise. Then, the COPS got called because the movers got into an altercation with people in our street.. they literally were yelling at people who could not drive past their truck. Exact words "I am paid to be nice to you, not anyone else." Next, the driver had collected some items from the first move that he was going to take home.. three large bookcases. Well guess what? Not all of our stuff fit because of HIS bookcases.. Not worth the fight at this point.. Then, it took them an hour to get from location A to B. (It was a 20 minute drive). I had to call the company to track them down because I was afraid they got lost. Even worse, you have to pay BEFORE they unload your stuff, which they "estimate" how much time it would take to move your items in.. They over estimated and said I would get a refund if it did not take that long.. well guess what, again?? It did not take as long, and I still have not received a refund. Lastly, I called to complain about it all, and got passed around like a hot potatoe. Just notice how on all of their reviews they put the same exact response.. they do not care one bit about you. At all. Save your money and move with someone else, or just move yourself at that point. Not worth the second mortgage payment.. they claim they are the Cowboys movers, well thats because they are the only people that can afford them.. absolutely horrible.

DO YOU WANT CRIMINALS IN YOUR HOME? They immediately knocked an expensive picture off the wall and broke it. Early in the move my wife noticed a firearm missing. It was her personal gun she had placed in an unsealed box in the kitchen. A little later my wife noticed the box with the gun was gone? Although they were wrapping and moving furniture, when asked, for some reason the move foreman had taped the box containing the gun up and put it on the truck. When questioned, he brought the box back in but the tape had been torn open and mysteriously the gun was gone. The Allen Police were called and Sargent May responded to the call. When the All my Sons foreman was sent back out to look in the truck again, the gun was found in a plastic hamper. Very Strange how the gun moved itself from the box my wife had put it in! Sargent May suggested the gun be sent for fingerprinting. Although no solid prints were found, in our opinion it was pretty obvious what was going on. SARGENT MAY DID ARREST THE All my Sons MOVE FOREMAN AND HIS HELPER ON THE SPOT FOR OUTSTANDING ARREST WARRANTS! A CRIME IS A CRIME! DO YOU WANT CRIMINALS IN YOUR HOUSE? {The owners response was they were ONLY traffic warrants!}

The only reason they are getting 5 stars is because of Sean and Ryan, the two movers. They were very nice, apologetic, quick and so polite. They were supposed to come on Saturday morning, with the call time between 7am to 9. After they missed the time my mother called amd they gave her a new time. After they missed that time we had to call again. After that they had to set it up for Sunday. They missed the time Sunday morning. After calling again they finally gave another time. Finally the 2 guys made it. It was 1pm. They did drop their rate and didnt charge a gas charge either. But the fact is a day of pay was lost for my mother who is on a fixed income. We still had to wait all Sunday morning. An extra day was not what we wanted. Over booking is not good practice or good customer service. The only reason why I would us them again is because of Sean and Ryan.

I would give zero stars if I could. Worst service I have ever experienced. First of all, we were told the day prior to moving that we would be first in line to be moved, and it turns out we were not. We were second in line after the movers had already moved a HUGE house. They didnt show up to move our stuff until around 2:30. Moving guys showed up in a ridiculously bad mood and were EXTREMELY rude. They threw our stuff around like trash and damaged a lot of our stuff. Then they proceeded to charge us $1000 for this POS service. When we called and talked about this to the CEO of the company, among other people, we were given a half @$$ apology and basically told "tough". DO NOT USE THEM unless you wanna be completely stressed out, treated like crap, and have your stuff damaged. Oh, and then be charged $1000.

Today Jeremy S, Keddrick , and Bailey moved the contents from my 2-bedroom apartment into a nearby storage facility. I have moved 7+ times during my adult life. Im able to say, without hesitation,, that this was the most professional, efficient, customer-centered company Ive ever used. Not only was their cost estimate spot on, everyone worked at an impressive rate which allowed me to experience a fast AND high-quality move. All of my delicate items (including a 19th-century grandfather clock)I were handled with extreme care and non-delicate items seemed to be handled just as carefully. I highly recommend All My Sons Moving to anyone whether transitioning from an apartment / condo to a home or vice versa. - Erik N, Mckinney, Texas
