Wish there was a "NO STAR" rating...this doesnt deserve 1 star. Joined 2-1/2 hrs ago, went for about 3 months at the most. Health issues came up but didnt cancel thinking some day i would start back. They were deducting monthly dues out of my checking. In the meantime, my monthly medications skyrocketed to $4500/mo which forced me to take a second job. Fast forward to 3 months ago, new debit card. When I would get home after 2:00 a.m. from 2nd job would have a recording from Just Fitness 4 U asking me to call with new debit card. Needless to say I was too tired to call in wee morning hours and ASSUMED they would look at my account, see that I had NOT BEEN THERE IN OVER 2 YEARS, and cancel my membership since they werent able to debit my account. I finally answered a call from a "collection agency"....SO..I was told I owed $85 and when I paid they would release my account and then I could cancel my membership. Called the Fitness Center to CX and tell them I wasnt paying credit company for something I hadnt used in 2 years and they said they couldnt cancel over the phone, had to come in personally so they could "check my ID". On my ONLY day off I went with a letter to cancel. They showed me a a sign at their desk that said you could only cancel memberships Monday - Fridays from 9-4! Excuse me?? I guess that is why they can afford to charge so little for a monthly membership because they can scam you in many other ways. DO NOT JOIN OR SIGN A CONTRACT.

Its OK. The machines are decent. They changed the leather not long ago but it is obviously very low quality because many seats are "cracked". The older guy who gives bad looks...yes, its true. He hardly ever says "hello". I dont think he is bad, its just he doesnt have a friendly face. I dont need trainers so I dont know if they are good or bad. I did have an issue with one of them. He didnt let me use a machine because he was "using" it to train another person. BUT he kept on talking to her and didnt use it after 5 MINUTES of talk and talk. I saw him saying "No" to another person. That was ridiculous. The mens restroom is not clean and the lockers...well most of them dont work. Theres even a sign that says something like "dont leave things in the locker because they are usually vandalized and we wont be responsible for that". If you dont have high expectations the gym is good enough.

I went to check the gym out (Garland Rd location) because Im changing gyms. I had the worst and weirdest experience when meeting there sales manager. I thought she was a new hire! She didnt seem to pay much attention or care for my business. She rattled on quickly about the gym and was unorganized. I felt like I was guiding the process when it should be the other way around. I was so close to ask for someone else or ask if it was her first day. Her name is Evelyn Montoya and she has a lot to work on. But besides that awkward tour I wll probably join the gym for the following: I like the flat lay out, not too too crowded, plenty of free weights, fairly friend crowd, and its like $30/month. I figured the with a cheap gym they will probably skimp on the staff. Since my background is in personal training I wont be using their trainers, so I have no idea if they are any good.

We live closeby to this gym, so last summer my 19yrold son went over to sign up for a month to month membership, because he was leaving for college at the end of August. He was told that was "no problem"...pay for the two months, then cancel the membership in August.."NO PROOOBLEM"! Well, PROBLEM...they are saying he cancelled his membership "early", which was not allowed according to his contract..so now there are collection agencies coming after him and me for the $280 "early cancellation fee"...Do not sign a contract. Do not use a credit card. Better still, just dont sign up w/ this chain, as they are liars and dishonest. And from what I read online, the Golds Gym just down the street is no better. Just go for a run or bike ride at the lake. Save your money.

Great facilities (Dallas and Mesquite), but horrible on customer care and service. I have had three trainers, two of which they fired (not sure why), and the latest one has not contacted me in over three weeks even though I have called her. I left messages at both locations about completing the remaining sessions that I have at the Dallas gym since I have moved from Mesquite to the White Rock, but I have yet to receive any feedback. There was also an error with billing in which they skipped two months on drafting the payment to cover personal training. I am considering buying out my contract to go to another gym :/

Joined about 2 months ago...24 hour is at royal and 75 and this place is only 3 minutes from my house..they got me all signed up for $220 for one year. Thats the pre pay deal. You cant beat it. I lift weights five times a week and even at peak busy times (5-8pm) its not super crowded at least compared to 24 hour fitness. I cant speak of staff or personal training but they always greet me with a smile. They also have a water fountain that dispenses filtered water which is nice. I really enjoy my work outs here and will continue to use this location until I move.

I have never been to this gym nor ever joined online. Yet these people are sending me collection letters and even have hired a collection agency to ruin my credit. Someone with my same name had joined and even though they had all this persons info which is totally different than mine they just went ahead and tried to collect from me. I dont know how they got all my information anyway. Very irresponsible and unprofessional people if you ask me. Now im in the process of trying to clear this up and remove them from my credit.

Customer Service is among the worst Ive ever seen. Absolutely no inclination to help or reasonably deal with any issues or concerns. I have never before posted a negative review for any business, but the management team at this business is beyond excuse. I know the cost of membership is low, but after my experience I can understand why. This is truly a case of getting what you pay for. This literally is the worst experience Ive had with a gym. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

The facility is decent and I really liked the equipment. The staff is definitely less than helpful and cancelling your membership is harder than a root canal. They cant process cancellations on Friday-Sunday because their computer "locks them out". Theyll be happy to take your payments at these times though. Certified mail is your only other option, so if you work a 9-5, might as well just mail it and save some time.

The White Rock location is becoming nasty. Every time you try to use the mens restroom in the morning, it is disgusting. I was told today that the cleaning lady leaves at 6:00 p.m. Doesnt it make sense to have a cleaning staff clean *after* the last member leaves and perhaps visit during the day to freshen it up. This place is a MRSA case waiting to happen! Very disappointing.
