I have been using this dry cleaner off and on for the past year. Although they have managed to lesson the intensity of stains present in my clothes, they have never managed to get any stains out. I realize that not all stains are able to come out of clothing; however I would never have anticipated a dry cleaner to ruin an article of clothing by actually staining a dress. I officially had to stop using their service when I came to pink up my hot pink silk dress that had been given to them with a few barely noticeable champagne stains and returned to me with purple stains all over it. It looked like they had tie dyed my dress with purple. They attempted to remove the stains twice and were able to lesson the stains, but not remove them leaving the dress just looking dirty. They offered no compensation for ruining the dress. What made it worse is that there was no sign of remorse or acknowledgement from the dry cleaner for ruining the dress. Although they claim they do not know what happen to it, my only thought is that somehow the purple shirt that I dropped off at the same time had bled onto the pink dress.

They switched my shirt with someone elses! I am appalled by the way I was treated on my most recent visit to Uptown Cleaners II. I was taking a business trip and brought in several shirts for cleaning. The night before I was leaving, I had my fiance pick up my shirts because I couldnt get there by 7pm close. When I got home, I found that my favorite Boss shirt was missing and was replaced by a random one from someone else. I took it in the next morning, and they offered no apology. They took the shirt from and said they would call, but didnt say when. I left for my trip without my shirt. Got a call the next day, but couldnt get it until I was back in town. When I went in to get it, the shirt was fine, but they offered no apology and no credit (no even for that shirt). I had to go back in there twice, plus I didnt have my shirt when I needed it. I will never go here again...this kind of mistake should NOT happen...and it if does, at least try to make things right.

I have been using this cleaner for several months upon moving to uptown Dallas. Recently, I took in one of my wifes favorite sweaters for a quick cleaning before a trip. This particular sweater had vented sides and when I received it back, one of the vented sides had been completely sewn up by one of their alterations personnel. The worst part wasnt the fact that they sewed up a random side of the sweater, but that these sewing job was completely awful. The stitching was unaligned with the seams in the sweater. A 10-year-old could have done a better job. When I realized what happened, I immediately returned it to the cleaners. The reason I will never use their service again was that they were completely unapologetic and claim they did the "right" thing by sewing up the side of the sweater. Whatever you do, do not take your favorite articles of clothing to this cleaner.

I have only been using this cleaner for four months, but I have been very happy. I originally picked this cleaner because she was the cheapest in the area. My clothes are always clean and never damaged. The tags always come off clean and easy without ripping my clothes. The service is very efficient and friendly.

Ive been going here for many years! and I live pretty far. I cannot trust anyone else but uptown cleaners 2. I have NEVER received my clothes damaged.. they also do shoe repair which is convenient! and they do a pretty good job at that as well. I totally recommend this place!!

THEY RUINED AN EXPENSIVE DRESS AND THEN REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR TO ATTEMPT TO FIX THE PROBLEM!! No apology or anything...
