Yes, this is a bad review. I wish i could give this -5 stars, because, the 76161 location is the WORST USPS location in the Entire Country!!!!! In fact, this review gets -76161 stars. The USPS office in Fort Worth hires a bunch of thieves. I am paying taxes to have my hard earned money stolen and apparently, this is okay with the USPS and all levels up the chain. They falsely send out reports that packages get distributed to the local post office. The local post office does not have confirmation of receipt. There is no formal sign-off. Even the local post office admits that packages are falsely reported as transferred. We actually want our packages. We dont want to site on the phone through countless wait times only to hear that YOU (the USPS ) lost our mail that we pay a lot for. You even lose Registered Mail?????!!!!! What?! INSTALL more cameras, FIRE the ENTIRE STAFF and HIRE a recovery and damage control unit to locate and GIVE US our mail. This is UNACCEPTABLE especially for valuable items. No, it is not acceptable to file a claim for a refund that you never send. You are forgetting one important thing, the package is still out there. So its okay to have someone else keep it for free??!!!!! And no, Consumer Affairs department at the 76161 location is Fort Worth is Useless. Dont even know why they have a direct number. They string you along only to NEVER call you back. Yes, I said never, because that is what happens. No, you dont ever call back. Dont pretend like you do all of a sudden. USELESS. Do you not see all of the bad reviews??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with the Postal Service the one 800-number. This is not my first time calling and reporting something being a prime member. For the representative to assume that everyone that lives here is criminals is messed up and it shows what type of character that she Has. Like I was telling her no one came yesterday May 23, 2017. Then I explained to her that I really havent had this problem until moving over here and not receiving my mail. I understand that they dont like people calling in and reporting things and they have to be a team player I get it but when youre wrong youre wrong the worst customer service that I have ever encountered. I did not hide behind a phone to say what I was thinking because I left my email and my cell phone plus she has my address. Enough said, I get that these apartments or new they have to hire more people but people that live here work just like you do not everybody looking for a hand out. Just like I receive a laptop from usps a week ago that was broken. Sad very sad because u have people like that that called themselves the righteous and Assume about people that live in bad areas that they all are like that. In the Bible those people are called goats. Regretting that I ever moved over here to this area. Aka the country

We operate a business and ship packages frequently through USPS Priority Mail. I received a letter today 08-09-2016 from this Post Office that said the parcel leaked fluid due to improper packaging. I know that things happen but we have shipped hundreds of these same packages and package them very diligently to avoid leakage from happening so I know that this letter is bogus. I am afraid that the USPS destroyed the package and this is an easy way for them to get away without paying the insurance which is included on Priority Mail. When trying to contact the location to get the package back or pictures of the leaking parcel it rings and rings then they pick up and hang the phone up! I will be contacting USPS customer service regarding this loss to our company and also report this location to customer service. You do not operate a business or federal company this way and I am quite angry that this is what our tax money is paying for!

I called in the beginning of January after I received a delivery attempt on a letter. They were needing more money due to postage wasnt covered. Well I called to ask if they had the letter and at that time we had to go check our mail numerous times at the post office. When asked if they had anything that I needed to pay postage on for me to receive it i was told no theres nothing here. Its about a 30 minute drive from where I live and out of the way so just making a trip there wasnt the easiest thing to do. I now received the final delivery notice. States it was tried to be delivered Saturday the 28th however it wasnt put into the mailbox until 02/01/2016. Im frustrated that the few times Ive called they have been very rude. Customer service needs to be there number one priority and its not.

Worst service ever. What do you expect coming from a post office. That is to be expected. USPS commercials on TV advertise wanting to be your business partner, willing to pick up your pre-paid packages at your door. That is the biggest joke in Ft. Worth. If your business depends on your packages being picked up, DO NOT trust the post office. You will soon be out of business. I have called and called wanting to let them know that they did not pick up. I was hung up on several times, and the "managers" that I finally got in touched with, seemed to not care. They did not complete a package pick up 5x in a 3 month period of time. They do not do their job. Use FedEx or UPS. You get what you pay for.

Total f***ing rudeness!!! I see while they are going out of business!! I received an email from Fed Ex that my package couldnt be delivered, it was at my local post office, please contact them. After 20 minutes of not answering the phone, I went to the location. I had the email ready and when the lady calls me up the counter I barely even say, " Hi I got an email from Fed Ex about a pack...." and she interrupts me and says "This isnt FedEx!" I can tell by the empty parking lot and people standing around that its not FedEx. Never stepping foot in there again!! Will use only UPS for future parcels.

We drove to this post office June 9th regarding a complaint about the Argyle post office since the Mark IV post office is over the Argyle post office. The clerk had us fill out a complaint form and said that someone would call us in a day or two. We waited until June 22 and filled out another complaint form. Its now August 15th and we havent even had an acknowledgement that they received the complaint. I guess the complaints forms just go in the trash. The problems havent been resolved so Im going to another source since Im not going to just forget the issues that need to be resolved.

I tempted to mail an oversea package and I weighed it before going to the post office. I was told at the post office counter that my package weighed 10 oz. more than what I recorded at home. Needless to say I did not mail my oversea package there I took it to another U.S. Post near where I work and it weighed the same amount as the scale from home. I will never mail my Packages the U.S Post Office at Meacham and Mark IV. They have tampered with their scales to force the customers to pay more it’s a scam!!! Also employees showed utter contempt towards their customers.
